There are a lot of different quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley and some of them can be quite difficult.
The game loves its fetch quests, and it can be annoying if you don’t know where to find the items needed or how to craft them.
One of the quests in the game is “The Ones That Got Away” and it requires you to get a bunch of different fish in the game.
In this guide, we’ll show you how you can do this quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
The Ones That Got Away Quest Guide
The quest “The Ones That Got Away” is a quest given to you by Goofy. It requires you to catch 3 different fishes in the game and some of them can be quite hard to find.
Here are all the fish you’ll need to catch for the quest.
Robot Fish
One of the easier fish to get for this quest is the Robot Fish. This one can be found in the Docks area, as well as the Overlook area of the map of the map.
Go down to the docks and look for the red-bubble fishing spots in the area. They’re sometimes hard to get your fishing line into so make sure to position yourself well.
Start fishing in the Red spots and you should get a Robot Fish in no time like the one shown below! Remember that you’ll need 2 of each fish.
Dunebopper
The next fish on the list is the Dunebobber and as the name suggests it’s in the desert areas of the game.

Prisma Shrimp
The last fish on the list is the Prisma Shrimp and this one can be found in The Grove area shown below. Just go run around the river area where the waterfall is and look for fishing spots.
What we need to find is the red-colored fishing spots in the grove. That’s where you can get a Prisma Shrimp.
Go up to one of the red spots and catch yourself a Prisma Shrimp, you’ll need two of them!
Cook Any Meal With The Fish
Once you get all of the fish listed for the quest, you’ll want to talk to Goofy again. After that, he’ll ask you to cook any of the fishes you caught into a dish.
The easiest way to do this is to go to a cooking station and just drop one of the fish into the pot. This will make the simple 1-star dish “Grilled Fish.” This will count as using the fish in the quest for a meal.
Once you’ve made the meal, you’ll want to go back to goofy and talk to him. After the dialogue, the quest will be completed!
