Hunting for achievements or trophies has been a thing since the introduction of the system. When Xbox and PlayStation first introduced that system, gamers who like to 100% everything did just that. They 100% the game and collected all achievements! Until now, gamers who spend a lot of time gaming have made it their mission to collect all achievements in games. If you are one of those gamers, then we can help you with getting 100% Achievement. Specifically with The Past Within.
100% Achievement Guide – The Past Within
The first achievement is “You know what to do”. This can be missed. If you do miss it, then you will not be able to get it until you start the game again. To get the achievement, you have to click on the picture of the bird to make it crow. Then look in the mirror immediately afterwards.
The next achievement is story related, meaning you won’t miss it. To get the “Behind the mask” achievement, you have to put the mask on while looking at the mirror.
“Bone, Flesh, and Blood” is the next achievement, it is also story related. Just add the 3 ingredients to the box.
The next achievement is also missable. “Catch me if you can” can be achieved by clicking on the butterfly (or the bee) in the picture for it to fly off. After breaking the vase, go to the lamp and find the butterfly or bee and click on it again.
Shortly after the soul leaves the coffin, look inside the coffin and click on the card to get “The Devil” achievement.
Another story related achievement is “The Past has changed”. You get this by making it to Chapter 2.
When you get to the piano puzzle, just play with it. You don’t need to play a specific song. Just play with it long enough for the achievement “Victor” to appear on your screen.
“Ear on the inside” achievement can be obtained when the ear goes inside the box.
To get the “Breaking In” achievement, you need to get the gears first. After getting it, click on the butterfly (or bee) and chase it. It will eventually land on the gear slot. Click on it to lock it in.
When you have the needle, stab the voodoo doll to get the “Dead eye” achievement.
For the “Hidden treasure” achievement, you need to put the gems in the correct order on the first try. The correct order is white, red, and yellow.
“Rooted in The Past” can be earned when you reach the congratulations screen when watching the credits.
When you see the mouse, click on it to make it squeak. Do this every time you see it.
After The Past solves the glass doors, look through the peephole to get the “Who is that?” achievement.
To get “A tooth for a tooth”, complete the tooth puzzle. When The Past gets the tooth, The Future has 1 more button to press.
When you enter the year of the future, which is 1984, you will get “The year of The Future” achievement.
Complete the chess puzzle on your first try, without any mistakes, to get the “Checkmate” achievement.
You get “The Future is ever changing” by going into Chapter 2 of The Future.
To get “Harvey’s Song”, play Harvey’s song (the classical version) on the radio then immediately look at the mirror.
The achievement “No way out” is earned when you chase the mouse around the room. You have to do it until the achievement pops up.
When the big ear lowers, you get the “All ears” achievement.
The “Frankenstein” achievement can be obtained by completing the flesh science puzzle without making a mistake on your first attempt. If you do mess up, you can exit the game and reload a save.
“There will be blood” is an achievement you can earn when you resurrect Albert.
When playing as The Future, watch the credits until you see the congratulations screen to get the “Branching out” achievement.
