Full Garou Combo Guide

Garou in The Strongest Battlegrounds is a very strong character that utilizes skills that can break your enemy’s guard. Here are the skills that you need to know if you’re going to be using Garou:

  • Flowing Water (Guardbreak)
  • Lethal Whirlwind Stream (Cannot guardbreak and is guardable)
  • Hunter’s Grasp (Guardbreak)
  • Prey’s Peril (Can counter against enemy attacks)

Basic Garou Combos

Seeing as how Prey’s Peril is a counter move, you will not be using this move a lot. It can be a great way to start a combo if your enemy attacks first, but most of the good combos for Garou requires him attacking first, as you will need to take advantage of his guardbrealking skills.

One example of a combo that will help you deal massive damage with guardbreaking is using Flowing Water to attack your opponent and send him flying. Look to your left (or right) and jump sideways to catch up to your opponent and face them before using Hunter’s Grasp to smash your opponent to the floor before throwing them again. Follow this up by dashing by doing a basic combo with the mouse click.

Another combo you should use will require you to make sure that the Lethal Whirlwind Stream will hit your target. Once the move hits and Garou ends the attack with a final slam to your opponent to the ground, immediately jump and use Flowing Water to combo your opponent in the air.

Rampage Garou Combos

Now that we have the basic combos down, let’s move on to the combos that require Garou in his Rampage mode (his ultimate). In this mode, Garou will have 4 skills still, with the 4th skill being a new addition to his moveset. Here are those skills:

  • Water Stream Rock Smashing (Guardbreak)
  • The Final Hunt (Guardbreak)
  • Hunter’s Cruelty (Guardbreak)
  • Crushed Rock (Guardbreak)

As you can see, Rampage Garou is an absolute beast that will break any character’s guard if they are hit with his skills. Garou in his Rampage state is a great way to deal a ton of damage continuously in combos.

The best way to start a combo with Rampage Garou is by starting with Crushed Rock. This skill has incredible range, allowing Garou to reach enemies that are a few feet away from him. When Crushed Rock hits and Garou slams the enemy to the ground, use Hunter’s Cruelty to keep slamming your enemy to the ground. Once the skill ends, immediately use Water Stream Rock Smashing to continue the combo while your opponent is on the floor, and end it with The Final Hunt.

Take note that Garou requires a lot of practice, as one misclick at the wrong time can result in the combo failing. This character is used by pros, and it is plain to see how Garou can be hard to master without practice.
