In Thymesia everything comes down to how many Memory Shards and Levels you can get in order to become better and defeat way stronger enemies as you progress. There is a very interesting way of doing this by buffing yourself up and drinking potions. Let’s see what it is and how you can do it.

Fast Memory Shards & Leveling / XP Guide – Thymesia

When you upgrade your potion ingredients slots to the maximum level of 3, you can start discovering new recipes by combining different herbs together. There are tons of recipes and variations online.

For boosting your Memory Shards you will need to craft a Focus Potion. The ingredients for this potion are:

  • Thyme
  • Rosemary
  • Mint

You can find all of these recipes by simply killing various enemies as you play the game. You can boost the chances of these items to drops by putting points into the Luck talent.

Focus Potions increase Memory Shards drop chance by 10% when you drink one to heal yourself. This way you’ll get XP especially if you’re fighting the right enemies.

Drink the potion to have the effect, just having it equipped doesn’t do anything. When you have the effect you will want to do farming runs and kill enemies as much as you can before the buff runs out.

Now the right usage of this potion is by killing the right enemies. The enemies that you’re looking for are those minibosses on each stage. The ones with way more hp and way more damage.

They usually tend to have some spikes on them and that is how you’ll know it’s them. Before you fight them just drink your potion and you’ll get way more Memory Shards and XP after you’ve killed them.

They respawn only after you’ve done your Recall and then go back into the stage again from the Philosopher’s Hill.

The Royal Garden is a great place for farming these minibosses. The entire area is flat, and the rate of how many of these NPCs are spawning is huge. So come here and stack up on potions while chasing down these enemies.

That’s it! We hope that this guide has brought you some extra XP and Memory Shards. Good luck farming these enemies, and don’t forget to drink the Potion!
