But as you play through the game and defeat a lot of different enemies you get to find these Plague weapon shards. These shards are used to unlock, learn and upgrade very unique plague weapons, and there are a lot of them.
The best way to get these shards is through hitting enemies with a reave attack, once you do that there’s a chance to get a shard out of them without killing the first. Since it is by chance, having higher luck also helps and thus leveling up your luck will give you more chances to get these shards. Mutated Tentacles

Nothing like a big sword to hit big! The greatsword is a great weapon that can knock enemies into the air, giving you some breathing room as well as giving them less breathing. This is a great weapon to have to control groups of enemies while also dealing a large amount of damage.
Bow
It’s your one and only true ranged weapon in the game. That itself should be enough explanation on how useful the weapon is. You do have your feather attacks but it doesn’t scale to damage as much as the bow.
The Scythe
It’s a plague, you’re sort of a plague doctor, the scythe is a no-brainer then. Not only is it the coolest weapon to use, it also deals a ton of damage and absorbs health from the enemy as well. A great weapon to have for any occasion.
