Thymesia is a fantastic new action RPG where it shares so many similarities with Dark Souls. The closest that they come is the boss battles. In this guide we will be showing you the Urd Boss Fight and what are the things that you should look out for and use in the battle. Let’s get started.
Urd Boss Fight Guide – Thymesia
Urd is a boss that is seen by many of the players of Thymesia as the hardest one ever. She has a lot of tricks up his sleeve and her unpredictability combined with massive raw power makes her a very tough boss indeed. There are a couple of things that you need to prepare yourself in order to take her down much easier and faster.
The Boss Fight – First Stage
She will start off pretty strong, coming down with her sword striking the ground and everything. This is a boss that will be constantly on you. No matter what you’ll be doing she will be right by your side not giving you time to breathe at all.
First of all, you will start out with the basics. Start hitting her strong and dodge her every attack. She will usually have a slight second while charing up her attack so you can use this to your advantage.
Watch out for her stances. When she makes a stance, and for that half a second is not doing anything while looking at you, it means that she will strike. Use this half a second to dodge and then to punish her for it. Once you take her down once, she will get stronger now. On to the next stage.
The Boss Fight-Second Stage
She will start using some big AoE spells this time. Once you take her down once this is how she’ll begin the second stage.
Whenever you see her casting this spell, it means that there will be whirling around her. The key here is to dodge these AoE circles and you’ll be fine.
As for the fighting, the same as before. She will do more damage now and have more HP as well. She will be faster and use her dash skill much more often. But that half a second before the attack will still be present. Use it to your advantage again.
Just repeat the strikes while countering her attacks and dodging her AoE strikes. After a while of repeating this rhythm, she’ll go down. Congratulations on defeating yet another hard boss!
