Torchlight Infinite’s new Arcana season is out with new gameplay mechanics and gear to obtain. So, if you want to experience everything the new season has to offer, you’ll want to farm all sorts of materials and currency.

Having trouble figuring out how exactly you can do this? Not to worry, we have you covered! In this guide, we’ll be going over multiple Netherrealm farming strategies that you can utilize in SS7. Let’s get into it!

Netherrealm Farming Strategies for Arcana Season

There are quite a few farming strategies that you can try out, particularly for getting Flame Elementium (FE) in the Arcana season. We’ll be looking at 4 of them!

Many of these will relate to the Void Chart accessible in the Netherrealm menu, so be sure to familiarize yourself with it.

If you’re just starting out with farming, we recommend using the Commodities Talent Constellation until you get past the Tier 2 crafting phase. After that, you can take off these points, and move onto the farming strategies we have laid out.

Shallow Dream Talking Farming

Shallow Dream Talkings are valuable materials that you can use to add Dream affixes to your trinkets, armors and weapons. They cost a decent amount of Flame Elementium as well so by farming them you are basically getting valuable current and modifiers.

After that, make your way to the Void Chart and go into the Nightmare Talent Constellation. Here, there are two particular nodes that you’ll want to focus on. These are:

  • Repentant – Nightmare
    • 10% chance to summon Sweet Dream Lightning after defeating an Elite Sleepwalker
    • Useful for annihilating enemies in range which will help with farming
  • Regretful – Nightmare
    • 2 additional Elite Sleepwalkers will appear when a Sweet Dream begins in Netherrealm
    • Can be used to increase the chances of summoning sweet dreaming lightning
    • Adds the Regretful – Nightmare confusion card to your collection.

The confusion card that gets added is the main part of the strategy. This is because this card does two things:

  • Sleepwalkers have a 9% chance to drop 1 additional Shallow Dream Talking
  • Normal Netherrealm monsters have a 9% chance to drop 1 additional Shallow Dream Talking.

In this way, you’ll be able to maximize your chances of getting these valuable materials that cost a decent amount of FE.

Timemark Progression

If you’re stuck on Timemark 7 or Timemark 8 and you’re stuck trying to get to the next tier, there is a great strategy that you can use to make it easier.

We recommend clearing all the maps you need on Timemark 7-0 or Timemark 8-0, depending on where you’re stuck. This is because if you look at Timemark 7-1 and 7-2, there are only two bonuses you are getting.

These bonuses are additional Drop Quantity and chance for the Watcher to drop exclusive Legendary Gear. However, both of these bonuses will not really help you get to the next tier.

So, by completing the maps on the lower Timemark, you’re making it much easier and faster for you. Eventually, when you are ready to face the Watcher boss, you can just run the maps on the highest setting so you can get the Legendary Gear.

Flame Elementium Farming

There are some really quick ways that you can get a bunch of flame elementium (FE). For the first one, make your way to the Spacetime Wanderer NPC. After interacting with him, select the Memory Decryption option.

In this menu, you should see a Store All option in the bottom left. Select it, confirm your selection and store all the cards. Doing so will give you a lot of Flame Elementium as rewards.

Do this as much as you can until you’ve got all the rewards. Be sure to also visit this NPC as you get more cards, so you can get rewards.

The next strategy involves going into your inventory and selecting the Commodity tab. Here, you’ll have all your items that can sell for a lot of Flame Elementium. If you’ve been playing or farming for a while, chances are you’ll have plenty of items that you can sell off since people want them.

Here are some items that we recommend looking at:

  • Winding Keys
  • Shallow Dream Talking
  • Energy Cores
  • Ultimate Embers
  • Truth Embers
  • Precious Embers
  • Fine Embers
  • Memory Threads.

A lot of this stuff will sell, but make sure you don’t actually need them before proceeding.

Additional Strategies

Lastly, we’ll be looking at certain nodes that you can use in the Void Chart to make farming easier. What you’re basically looking for is nodes that help add monsters to the map or just give you loot for bare minimum effort.

Here are some Constellations with nodes that are worth looking at:

  • Folklore Talent Constellation
    • Any node that adds Mistville monsters which helps with farming Resonance Eyes
  • Aeterna Talent Constellation
    • Add additional Aeterna mobs or even get a boss to appear with the Negligent – Aeterna node
  • The Frozen Canvas Talent Constellation
    • Select nodes on the left that allow bosses to drop additional Snowpaper Fragments
    • Final node gives the Cold – The Frozen Canvas confusion card that gives you additional Snowpaper Fragments for completing the stage
  • War Talent Constellation
    • The God of War nodes help you get more speed which will help make farming easier
  • Profound Talent Constellation
    • Some nodes help you get additional cards and drop quantities
    • Avoid the node that stop Starshards from dropping as they are incredibly valuable.

All of these nodes can potentially make your farming journey much easier and could be utilized with the other strategies.
