The Endless mode is the endgame content of Tower Defense X where players challenge themselves with all they’ve got to survive for as long as they can. We’ll put all the reworked and new towers into this tier list, rating the best ones to bring into Endless mode to give you the best results. As usual, each player can have their own opinion, so feel free to share your thoughts at the end! Some of these rank where most players expect them to be. But others might surprisingly be your answer to push your limit. Let’s go!
Endless Mode Best Tower Tier List
Do note that some towers can be insanely good in some situations while others are just an overall better picks for most rounds. And depending on which tower your friends are bringing in a multiplayer game, you might want to switch up what you bring. The current tier list currently looks like this:
Having multiple people bringing slightly different lineups could be the answer to pushing the Endless Mode to the limit. We’ve seen some players using different kinds of match-ups, so feel free to experiment!
SS-Tier
- Golden Juggernaut: Outclasses every other unit there is. The power output is strong, the cost is worth to bring the unit in any mode, and the range is also shockingly good.
S-Tier
- Warship: One of the reasons this is such a great unit is because of the ability to place it in water. With its insane range, having someone bring Warship will add a lot of firepower to the team.
- EDJ: The must-have support unit for extra damage.
- Golden Ranger: If you have Laser Gunner and Golden Ranger, Golden Ranger is just overall better.
- Laser Gunner: If you don’t have Golden Ranger, this is your go to long-range unit.
- Grenadier: The powerful splash damage is pushing Grenadier even higher in the tier list recently.
- Armored Factory: A whole lot better compared to the Barracks.
A-Tier
- Railgunner: If you don’t have a lot of the fancy and Golden units, Railgunner is pretty good damage-wise.
- Juggernaut: Still a good unit, except when deal with invisible unit.
- XWM Turret: Very expensive, but in Endless mode, can be quite the beast worth the long run.
- John: Some people refuse to use John in exchange of EDJ and the Farm. But in reality, John is the perfect match-up with Juggernauts, boosting their bottom path damage for crowd control.
- Farm: You know what it does. These money-makers are must-have in Endless mode early game to prepare the big guns. But late-game, your farms’ only role will be to heal towers.
- Artillery: Huger towers that splash groups of enemies from afar, the alternative to the Warship if you don’t have it.
- Cryo Blaster: If you’re new to the game, you won’t believe how easy some rounds can be with enough Cryo Blasters just perma-freezing the enemies. But not every round works with it.
B-Tier
- Toxicnator: You’re going to get more value out of John which also has support buff.
- Sniper: Decent damage but is outclassed by a lot of other units in terms of ASPD.
- Patrol Boat: Don’t have Artillery or Warship? Patrol Boat does a speck of what those units can do.
- Missile Trooper
- Barracks: The cheaper version of Armored Factory which sends troops every now and then.
- Cryo Ranger: Okay damage, but Cryo Blaster is a better variation.
C-Tier
- Operator: The budget-friendly long-game DPS.
- Ranger: Cheap stealth detection.
- Shotgunner: The budget-friendly early-game mob wiper.
F-Tier
- Mine Layer: Let us know when you ever find the Mine Layer. It currently can’t do anything.
That concludes our discussion of the current Tower Defense X tier list for Endless Mode. Which one do you have, and which one do you think could see some changes? And speaking of Endless Mode, we’ve also got another guide to help you grind out Golden Towers with that mode.
