New players are sometimes considered free real estate in games like Type Soul. It’s an unspoken rule that you may or may not get murked the moment you decide to turn to a corner you’re not familiar with. This helps you learn the ropes if you can get over the fact that it can frustrating a few times.

Not everyone should fall victim to the same ploy however, so we’ll lay down a few tips and tricks for you to follow during your first hours of gameplay. Who knows, maybe you’ll learn something that you haven’t yet by reading the guide!

The first thing you have to do as soon as you spawn in is to die. Don’t think too much about it as it’s a game mechanic, and also part of the lore if you’re an avid Bleach enjoyer. Find someone roaming around with a sharp object soon enough and they will make short work of you regardless if you asked nicely or not.

This will turn you into a Lost Soul. During your short tenure as a Lost Soul you’ll be able to pick between the three available races in-game. These races would be Hollow, Quincy, and Soul Reaper. You can also play as a Vizard, but the race you’ll get in-game is watered down due to how overpowered it is lore-wise. So for now it’s best to stick with the initial three races.

Avoid the Campers

Now that you’re in limbo, you have a few places to go to in order to further your journey. If you take a left turn coming from your spawn point you’ll eventually end up in front of the Quincy tunnel, should you ever decide to side with them.

Be careful though, there are Soul Reapers who camp that gate who will purify your soul against your own will. If you do want to become a Soul Reaper, you can talk to Kisuke Urahara by the park. To become a Hollow instead, press CTRL+K on your keyboard after dying.

Beat Shikai Easily

Instead of having to go through the trouble of getting to grade level 2, all you have to do is meditate in Soul Society three times. Teleport into Soul Society using your special and press “M” anywhere as long as you’re in the area. Your character will automatically stand up after thirty minutes. If that happens just meditate again and you’ll be good to go.

Don’t invest any points into your skills just yet. Your Shikai boss will copy any moves or skills that you have. If you don’t have any proper skills, so will the boss, this will make your fight way easier as your foe will only be limited to basic attacks.

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
