In Type Soul, a captivating world where your skills and abilities are put to the test. You’ll be able to experience various PvE and PvP contents. From intense personal matches with other players or crowded raids with multiple people, there are always so many things for you to do.
You may want to pay attention to the Grade System, which serves as a measurement of your mastery and proficiency. As a new player, you may want to understand how the Grade System works. From a trainee to the final grade of 3/2, we’re here to help you progress!
How The Grade System Works Guide
Before you get to the Grade System, you’ll need to first become a Lost Soul by dying, choose a class then you’ll be able to start the system. Then, you’ll need to do a mission as a trainee before you are able to increase your Grade.
You’ll be able to see how you can change your class to Soul Reaper, Quincy or a Hollow (see this Beginner Guide). It’s not recommended for you to become a Hollow since it is very difficult for you to become a Vastolorde, you’ll also have a pretty high chance of failing if you ever try to risk it. Therefore, it’s best to just try and avoid turning into a Hollow for now.
You can become a Soul Reaper, which is an easy class for you to obtain. Since there are always Soul Reapers ready to purify you as a Lost Soul, you won’t even need to do the quest to become one. Other than that, you can also become a Quincy. With your class chosen, you are now ready to start progressing in this Grade System.
From Trainee to Grade 5 is basically learning controls and basic combat training and doing basic quests from mission boards. For example, you’ll be able to do a quest that requires you to defeat Hollows in a party. There are always multiple players playing with you so do not worry about enemies outnumbering you.
After that, press N and open up your menu. You’ll then be able to see an item which you can equip in your Special tab. This is something that you want to equip in order to keep progressing. Then, use the item and stand inside of the door you will open using this item.
Then, the game will send you to a server, putting you in Soul Society. However, this is not where you want to be. Instead, you’ll want to use the item again to teleport you to the Karakura Town area. Just like how you did it earlier, simply use the item and you’ll be able to teleport again.
As a Grade 5, in order to become Grade 4, you’ll need to purify Lost Soul Players or NPCs by pressing P. There are always people looking to become a Soul Reaper so they will ask you to purify them. This is really easy for you to do since these players are easy to find and they are also looking for you as well. Keep it in mind that it will take you a random number, it may be 9, 15 or even 25 before you move to the next Grade, so be patient!
After you have reached Grade 4, you will need to continue doing quests until you reach level 5. On the top right of your screen, you’ll be able to see the xx/60 minutes. You’ll need to do quests to increase this number to 60. After you have completed a quest, you will need to wait for a short duration before you can increase this number again. It’s basically doing a quest, then afk for 10 minutes and coming back for another quest. Then, you’ll be able to become Grade 3/2.
That is how you progress in the Grade System. It may take you a lot of time to progress from the beginning until the end. However, just be patient and enjoy the gaming processes by playing with friends, forming parties and having conversations. Once you have fun with the game, you won’t even notice that you’ve already completed the whole Grade System!
