How To Get Hogyoku Fragments Fast & Legendary Loot (True Hogyoku)
Hogyoku Fragments (Hog Frags) aren’t something you can just stumble upon casually, you’ll need to actively hunt them down. With boss raids no longer dropping them, the main sources are Ranked Matches, Raids, Culling Games, and exchanging Raid Points for fragments.
Each method has its own pros and grind time: Ranked offers a steady flow if you can win consistently, Raids can stack rewards for multiple players at once, and Culling Games are high-risk but high-reward if you can handle the competition. Mixing these methods is key, stick to one and you’ll burn out, but rotate between them and you’ll build your stash way faster.
1. Ranked Matches – Best Overall
If you’ve got solid PvP skills, Ranked is the most reliable method. The higher your ELO, the better your rewards:
- 800+ ELO → Noticeable loot upgrade
- 1600+ ELO → Comparable to legendary drops
You’ll pull things like Skill Boxes (which you can trade) and Hog Frags directly. Even if you don’t get Frags every match, the other loot is still worth trading for them.
Downside: You need to be decent at combat. Builds matter a lot here.
2. Raids
Raids are still great for farming, especially if you do them in your home world — some players believe they give slightly better drop rates for Hog Frags.
Tips:
- Always hit loot crates with an AoE to secure rewards.
- More wins = more chances.

3. Culling Games (Large Teams)
If you’ve got a squad of 6+ players, Culling Games can outshine Ranked in terms of loot efficiency.

- 5 players pick the same race, 1 picks a different race.
- Play as normal until the end.
- The solo player lets themselves get gripped so the larger team wins all the points.
- Everyone on the bigger team gets loot comparable to multiple 1600 ELO Ranked matches in one run.
4. Using Raid Points for Trades
Most people ignore raid points — don’t.
- Win a KT raid.
- Go to the market.
- Buy Skill Boxes with your raid points.
- Trade those boxes for Hogyoku Frags in trading servers.
Right now, Skill Boxes are the most valuable raid-shop item for this method.
What Are Hogyoku Fragments?
Hogyoku Fragments (a.k.a. Hog Frags) are one of the most important resources in the game. They let you push your build past the elite state into the “?” and “???” ranks — the first being the lesser version of your true form, and the second being your full true variant.
They’re also used to unlock class-specific abilities once you’ve achieved your true form.

- Shinigami:
- 10 Frags → Vizard
- 9 Frags → Itto Kaso
- 3 Frags → Advanced Shunko (if you use Shunko)
- Total: 22 Frags & 1 True Hogyoku
- Quincy:
- 10 Frags → Letzt Stil (+ Heilig Pfliig)
- 9 Frags → Sankt Zwinger (after True Letzt)
- Total: 19 Frags & 1 True Hogyoku
- Arrancar:
- 7 Frags → Lesser Vastocar (if mask removed as Adjuchas)
- 9 Frags → Gran Rey Cero
- Total: 16 Frags & 1 True Hogyoku
Once you’ve reached the lesser form, a True Hogyoku will take you to the full version, granting you special variant buffs or passives.
