As you progress in Type Soul as one of the three main classes, you’ll eventually find the need to become stronger. This is when you look for new abilities, drops, higher EXP levels as well as stronger weapons. You can obtain better weapons by purchasing them from Shops or Raids. In the Karakura Town Shop, you’ll be able to purchase the Ulquiorra Cloak, Hierro Plating, Harribel’s Cloak and the Hollow Box. All of these items are useful end-game items that you want to eventually obtain in the game.
Since you want to mainly focus on getting your weapons, you will instead want to get the Hollow Box. This Box is something you can open to have a chance of obtaining some decent weapons you can use. Keep it in mind that it is random and you may even have a chance of getting nothing.
After you have purchased the Box from the Karakura Town Shop or from a Raid. You’ll be able to see the Hollow Box in your Inventory. Then, equip it in one of the 10 slots in your ability Bar and you’ll be able to use the Box.
Upon opening the Boss, your character will reset. Then, when you spawn back into the game, you’ll be able to see yourself with a new weapon. For example, you may have a chance of obtaining the Nnoitra’s Scythe, which is a decent weapon to get.
With a new weapon, you can start trying it out! Each weapon has different attacks, damage and speed so if you do not like the current weapon, you can always open another box to change it. As you open the boxes, you’ll eventually find yourself with a weapon that suits you the most!
