Raids are a major part of progression in TYPE://SOUL. Whether you’re grinding for your final mode unlocks like Bankai, Twin Souls, Full Standing, or Segunda, or you just want to farm points for the Raid Shop, knowing how raids work can save you hours of trial and error.

While raids are supposed to spawn every hour, there’s a catch: they’re still a bit buggy. This means timing can be inconsistent, making it harder to catch them without a plan. This guide will walk you through exactly how to find, join, and win raids, as well as where you should farm depending on your race!

Learning How to Do Raids in TYPE://SOUL

The Raid Shop and Raid Points

Before diving into strategies, it’s important to understand why raids are worth your time.

Raid Shops in Type Soul

Every major area, Soul Society, Wandenreich, Hueco Mundo, and Fake Karakura Town has a Raid Shop. These shops are stocked with useful items like essences, blue pills, and red pills.

To access the Raid Shop, you must have at least one raid win on your slot. In earlier versions, one win was enough, but recent updates suggest it might require two or three wins now. If you don’t meet the requirement, the shop NPC will give you the message: “You don’t look like a winner in my town.”

Winning raids rewards you with Raid Points, which you can then spend in the shop to get whatever you need.

Finding Raids

Since raids are currently spawning at random times, finding them is the biggest hurdle. There are two main methods you can use:

1. Server-Hopping

Server-hopping in Type Soul: How to Do Raids Guide

Check the server list in Type Soul. Each server has a time counter, and normally, raids spawn on servers that are close to the 1-hour mark. For example:

  • If a server shows 0:51, it means it’s likely 9 minutes away from a raid.
  • If a server shows 0:54, it’s about 6 minutes away.

However, due to the current bugs, raids don’t always spawn exactly at the hour. That means this method isn’t 100% reliable, but it’s still one of the easiest ways to catch a raid without waiting around too long.

2. Using Discord Servers

Because the in-game server list no longer shows which servers have active raids, Discord communities have become the go-to tool for raid tracking.

These dedicated channels have announcements for each raid type:

  • KT Raids
  • Hueco Mundo Raids
  • Wandenreich Raids

Players post live updates when they find raids, and others can quickly join in.

Winning Raids

Once you’ve found a raid, you have two main strategies for winning:

Option 1: Bring a Squad

The simplest method, gather friends or strong allies and work together to dominate the raid. Coordination makes it easier to capture objectives and handle enemy players.

Option 2: Join a Favorable Server

Sometimes, the best way to win is to pick your battles. Look for servers where the opposing faction isn’t fully committed to the raid.

Best Places to Farm Raids by Race

Your race affects where you should focus your raid farming efforts. Based on player trends, here are the recommended spots:

  • Soul Reaper: Hueco Mundo
  • Fullbringer: Hueco Mundo
  • Arrancar: Wandenreich
  • Quincy: Soul Society

These locations are where each race tends to have the highest win rates and most consistent raid activity.

Extra Tips

  • Expect bugs: Raids may not spawn at the exact hour, so patience is key.
  • Track multiple servers: Having friends check different servers increases your odds of finding a raid quickly.
  • Don’t waste your wins: Once you have access to the Raid Shop, spend your Raid Points wisely—prioritize items that will speed up your progression.
  • Play during peak hours: More players online means more potential raid calls in Discord channels.

Raids in Type Soul are more than just a fun activity. They’re a gateway to unlocking your final forms, getting powerful consumables, and earning progression-boosting items. While the current bugs and inconsistent timers can be frustrating, the right approach turns raids into one of the fastest ways to advance in the game.

If you’re serious about progression:

  1. Learn the server-hopping technique and check for near-1-hour servers.
  2. Join active Discord communities like Execution to get real-time raid alerts.
  3. Choose farming locations that favor your race to increase your win rates.

Mastering raids will not only give you access to the Raid Shop, but it will also put you ahead of the competition in both PvE and PvP content. Until the developers patch the bugs and stabilize raid timers, flexibility and community coordination are your biggest assets.
