In Type Soul, you will be in an adventure world where you get to become one of the three main classes and progress. As you progress, you’ll be able to experience both the intense PvP matches and the fun PvE missions that you can do with other players.
One of the main features in the game that you may want to pay attention to is the Raid feature. This will allow you to gain access to many of the useful items in Type Soul. These items will then allow you to modify your character and become stronger!
How to Boss Raid Guide
In Type Soul, there are two different types of raids, one is the Karakura Town Raid. Another is your Hometown (Faction) raid where opponents can invade Soul Society (Soul Reaper), Wandenreich (Quincy), or Hueco Mundo (Arrancar),
Karakura Town Raids happen at o’clocks in-game, for example, it may happen at 2:00 in server time. If a Karakura Town server has at least 5 to 7 people each class, the raid will automatically start. Hometown raids, or also known as Faction Raids, happen every 40 minutes of server time.
When these raids happen, they will allow you to play in different modes. For example, you can experience the capture the flag mode or faction mode where the clan that has more kills wins. The game will mention the rules in advance and they will be quite straightforward so do not worry.
Upon completing a raid, you will have chances to gain many useful items like Hollow Boxes, Soul Tickets, Skill Boxes, Red Pill, Blue Pills (which you can use to reset your skill points) as well as many other useful equipment.
These raids also have a chance of dropping weapons or also currencies you can use for the shop when completed. Some of the accessories you will eventually obtain as you play these raids are the Urahara Cloak, Cat Ears or the Kenpachi’s Eyepatch.
You will also have a chance of obtaining the Hollow Box, which gives you a random weapon on opening it. These weapons are decent weapons you can use during the game and most of them are quite good. As long as you are lucky enough, you’ll be able to find a weapon that suits you.
In Karakura Town, to the right side of the bridge, you will be able to see a Dark Colored Building. In this building, you’ll be able to see the Market NPC. When you interact with her, she will say that ‘You don’t look like a winner in my town’. This means that your faction has lost the raid.
If you win your raid, she will unlock the Market shop. In the image down below, you can see that you can make the purchase for the Ulquiorra Cloak, Hierro Plating, Harribel’s Cloak and also the Hollow Box. These items are both rare drops from raids and you can always purchase them if you have gathered enough of those currencies.
You will also have a chance of obtaining skill boxes. These skills can be really great if you get lucky and obtain them. For example, you can get the Ghost Cleave, which allows you to Slash through a singular opponent, right click before the slash to feint the strike.

There’s also a luck factor regarding how strong your teammates are as well. This is not something that you can be in control of.
