In Type Soul, you will be put in an adventure world where you get to progress to become stronger and survive against threats. You will get to play as one of the three main classes, which are Soul Reaper, Quincy and Hollows. These will offer you different playstyles as well as different skill trees for you to utilize.
Do you also know that there is a Points system that you can invest in? In this guide, we’ll show you the Speed Build which you can use for both PvE and PvP matches. This guide will mostly focus on the PvP aspects so you will be able to defend yourself and win against the other players.
Speed PVP Guide
In the game, you’ll be able to have up to 60 points that you can invest in. In order to go for the speed build, you will need to have a minimum of 50 points in speed. Other than that, you can use the other 10 for other trees. If you want to, you can also invest 60 in speed if you do not need that extra damage for healing to sustain yourself.
Next, let’s learn more about your abilities for this Speed Build.
Flashstep: This can be casted by holding Shift and Pressing Q. Then, you’ll be able to dash very quickly and become unforgettable for your enemies. This is a great tool for you to close the gap or to evade enemy attacks, or even running away from them when necessary.
Flash Tension: This passive skill will give you a strong effect: Hitting an Opponent’s block 3 times teleports you behind them, default on and toggleable. This way, you can surprise your opponent and attack them from behind.
Flashstep Mastery 1: This passive reduces Reiatsu cost of Flashstep. This will allow you to dash even more in prolonged fights where you need to consistently dodge attacks, close the gap or move away from your opponents’ attacks.
Flashstep Mastery 2: Further Reiatsu cost reduction and CD reduction. This is a further upgrade, allowing you for more mobility capabilities.
Blooming Cut: This ability allows you to teleport to an Opponent for a very quick slash. As a result, you can become really flashy and unpredictable for your opponent. When you use this with other abilities, it can be harder for your opponents to track you down.
Flash Fakeout: Feints a raised slash to teleport behind your opponent.
Flash Cut: Cut down your opponent at the speed of light. You slice and teleport quickly at your opponent.
Sonido Break: Intercept those attempts to flashstep around your mouse position for an unseen strike. You can use this ability to get your opponent to get out of flash step or Sonido.
Phantom Trick: Fool opponents with a false clone. This ability is like a prolonged flashstep, which can be really useful in fights.
Enhanced Steps: For a short duration, evasive frames are doubled along with successful evades, teleporting you behind the attacker. If there are multiple people hitting you at the same time, you can use this ability to get out of the situation.
Perfect Flashstep: This is a passive ability that increases your Flashstep duration, reduces cooldowns and Reiatsu cost immensely.
Dropping Fang: Stand atop the heavens and strike those beneath you.
Floating Strikes: Strike into the skies, leaving opponents floating.
Fast Fang: Strike forward, cutting all those who stand in your way. Pretty strong ability
Waterfall Dance: A sacred art passed down until it has reached you. This ability allows you to perform consecutive slashes at your enemies. You can use this for guard break as well, free damage.
Now that you know about the abilities in the speed skill tree, you’ll want to know how you can play this class. The Speed skill tree can utilize speed to fight in close range combat, or even kite your enemies and attack while backing off, which is really flexible.
However, you may be teleporting back and forth multiple times. This is why you will want to pay attention to places you will potentially teleport to, so that you do not get lost. Since you will be very speedy, practice is required so you understand your moves as well as your combos.
That is some of the information about the Speed Class in Type Soul. PvP in this game isn’t an easy thing for you to master and may require you a lot of effort. However, if you always pay attention to the attacks of both you and your opponents, you’ll be able to dodge attacks and become more unpredictable.
Losing your first few fights isn’t a very big deal since this build may have a very high skill ceiling. With teleportations and high damaging abilities, when mastered, you will be able to explore all the potentials when it comes to playing this build. Keep practicing and show your opponents who’s the best one in town!
