In the Survival RPG of Undawn, you will get to do many things such as gathering resources, materials, crafting. You will also get to engage in fights with various contents for you to explore. Moreover, you will also need to utilize one amazing system called the Roles or Professions feature.
By leveling the skills up for each role, you will be able to get some amazing perks. It is recommended for you to try and level up only one profession if possible. However, you can also choose to spend lots of time and level each and every single one of them up!
Roles (Professions) Complete Guide
Currently, there are up to 14 roles that you can play in the game. They are Logger, Miner, Gatherer, Hunter, Chef, Angler, Scavenger, Firearms Master, Inventor, Highwayman, Troubadour, and Nursing Home Care Worker. Keep it in mind that the Nursing Home Care Worker has not been in the game yet.
Each day you are going to have a maximum amount of professions proficiency you can gain. In order to obtain the points, you will need to take part in any of these four skills related tasks.
First, let’s get to the four main roles that you will want to pay attention to. They are Logger, Miner, Gatherer, and Hunter. Leveling will give you some stats gain as well, for example, as the Hunter you will gain some extra damage. Each role will give you different perks so go for whatever you need the most in your situation.
Here’s how you are going to gain the proficiency points that you need, you will have an increasing chance of obtaining rarer materials as you level these skills up:
Logger: This one is a basic and easy role since you only need to perform the task of chopping trees.
Miner: You can gain proficiency points by mining stones.
Gathering: You can do this by gathering berries and vegetables, or fruits as well as other related plant materials.
Hunter: Just like its name, this role can be leveled up by hunting animals and obtaining the related materials from these creatures in-game.
Now let’s move on to the Secondary Roles. Just like other roles, these also have a limit to how many proficiency points you can obtain each day. They are the Chef, Angler, Scavenger and Firearms Master roles. Here’s how to level up each of these professions:
Chef: This role is a pretty straightforward role. As a chef, you will need to cook food to level up. One of the stations you can use is the Grill, which you can use to make dishes. This one among one of the quickest and easiest roles for you to upgrade. The only setback you will face is that you can only store a limited number of food items in your backpack.
Angler: This is a role you can level up by participating in fishing activities. As you level up, you will gain perks that increase your fish quality or quantity. Keep it in mind that there is a daily cap for how much exp you can gain for this role.
Scavenger: You can level up Scavenger by doing daily Settlement Missions. You will want to select the Lost City Settlement to make sure you will gain proficiency points for this role.
Firearms Master: This role is essential for players seeking to craft powerful guns and weapons. With these weapons, you will be able to survive better as well as farming animals more easily. You will be able to craft higher quality weapons as you level up.
Other roles you can try are the Highwayman and Troubadour roles:
Highwayman: There isn’t a lot of information for this role. However, it is known that you can level up this role by racing or looting. This will allow you to develop the skills to adapt and survive in the junkyard areas in deserts.
Troubadour: With this role, you’ll be able to become a wandering musician. If you are someone looking forward to bringing comfort to people, then be ready to gather musical notes and play those melodies!
As you level up, you will be able to obtain decorations as well. For example, leveling up the Hunter Profession helps you gain some amazing decorations for your Homestead in-game. In the image down below, you’ll be able to see some items that you can obtain after you have reached a certain level.
