Untitled Boxing Game: How to Beat Buffed Father Bringus

Father Bringus is the so-called final boss of the Untitled Boxing Game on Roblox, and for some reason, the developer thought that he deserved to become even harder to beat. In the latest patch, Bringus has now become a sort of omniscient being who can read your inputs like a book and counter almost anything you throw at him. Below are a few tips on how to beat this hilariously stronger version of him!

How to Beat Buffed Father Bringus

With a quick update, Father Bringus has become much more difficult to beat, and if you had already gotten him when he first came out, your old tactics probably won’t work anymore.

Basically, this boss has much more health and damage than you. So, not only is he both tanky and hits hards, but he can also predict your next moves to an unfair degree.

You don’t need to use a specific fighting style to beat him, as any can work as long as you keep one important tip in mind, which is to be patient. You are pretty much forced to play passively to have a chance at beating this improved version of him.

Because of this, you have to keep blocking to get him to attack you first. From there, take any opportunity to launch a counter offensive and then just get into a loop of blocking and waiting for him to strike first.

Never throw the first punch. As we have stated above, Father Bringus can now read you like an open book. If you try to attack first, he will dodge your punches every time and leave you wide open for a counter.

One neat trick with abusing blocks is that doing so can force the boss to attack you because of how its AI works. If you want to play slightly less passively, you can block with the intention of dodging instead. This can leave him very vulnerable to attacks when he inevitably tries to swing at you.

Aside from that, his combos will also typically have a very brief moment where he can be perfect dodged. With a bit of practice, you can figure out the proper timing to do this so you can start punching him while he is mid-combo.

Best Styles to Use

Although you can beat him with any style, if you really want to min-max this tough fight, Kimura and Shotgun are two options that you should look into. These will allow you to be a little more active.

With Kimura, you can essentially slow him down by spamming feints. For some reason, despite having almost cheater levels of input reading, he will almost always keep falling for a feint, making this pretty much the only “legit” cheese tactic you can use.

On the other hand, Shotgun is a little more surprising as it is normally seen as a pretty bad style overall. However, Father Bringus, for some unknown reason, is unable to dodge the barrage ability.

Because of this, Shotgun now has a very niche use in that you can just keep throwing out rapid jabs at this boss to beat him with ease. You will still need to play well, though, as being careless can lead to a swift defeat.

Aside from these two, just use whichever style you are comfortable with and play passively. There really is no other way to get around his hard reads without the aforementioned styles, so just take it slow and chip away at his health with a defensive playstyle.

And that is pretty much everything you need to know in order to beat this new and improved version of the game’s final boss (for now).
