Valkyrie Elysium lets the player experience the story of a Valkyrie named Maria as she is sent by Odin to stop Ragnarok. The Naglfar Eygon is a boss that you’ll encounter at the very end of the first chapter in the game. This is the first boss of the entire game and it doesn’t disappoint looks-wise since it’s terrifying to look at! This boss can be tough to fight with the wrong skills, so in this guide we’ll show you how get ready in fighting this thing!
A great skill to have first of all is the double evade skill, this skill can be found under the support skill tree. Not only is it a good skill to use on the boss but it’s also very useful for fighting in general. The skill is very self-explanatory, it’s a skill that lets you evade twice in a row, a great way to avoid the boss’ ground slams. That also means that you have more invulnerability frames since technically your evade is longer.
Also remember to get the Grave Edge 1 Divine art, since it’s along the way to the boss and it’s a great skill to use on said boss. When you use Grave Edge on the boss it can potentially crush the boss, that means you can follow it up with another Grave Edge to immobilize it.
The best tip here is to let the Crush bar go until it’s run out before you hit the boss with another Grave Edge, so that you can maximize your time attacking it.
The fight itself is pretty simple with these two elements with you, the double evade helps in clearing the Boss’ huge AOE attacks while the grave edge can easily knock the boss down for you to combo it.
