Genshin Impact has enjoyed acclaim all throughout the world for the good gameplay and storyline that is wrapped neatly in a free-to-play package. While most people are content with doing their dailies everyday, the game also caters to those who enjoy the story with regular updates on quests.
In this guide, we’ll be tackling the steps to complete the quest Valor’s Afterglow: Return by Sundown.
Valor’s Afterglow: Return By Sundown Quest Guide
NOTE: Something to keep in mind about this quest is that it’s time-gated. You can only do the next quotes after waiting for the server time to reset.
To start, you need to teleport to the waypoint just south of the Nameless Ruins. Talk to Jinwu and it will then start the quest.
The next step is to look for Zhiqiong in one of the beacon placement sites. You won’t need to visit all the beacon sites and can simply go to where Zhiqiong will be.
To get there, teleport to the waypoint below Stony Halls and defeat the Rifthounds.
You can then hand over Jinwu’s soup to Zhiqiong and the quest will be complete!
After completing the quest, you’ll earn 250 Adventure EXP, 30 Primogems, 3 Hero’s Wit, and 30,000 Mora.
This also advances the chain Valor’s Afterglow quest chain that you can take after the server reset!
