Want to learn about Limit Break? You’re in the right place! Here’s everything you need to know about Limit Breaking in Verse Piece—what it is and why it is important, how to get Limit Break Stones and how to use them, and most importantly, whether it’s worth the grind. I’ll be showing you my tests on the damage difference between a normal sword and a fully limit-broken one, so stick around to see just how big of a boost you can get!
Complete Limitbreaking Guide
In Verse Piece, your equipment’s power is determined by stat grades. Think of it like a ranking system for your weapons and gear.
If a weapon has a “D” stat grade, that means there’s a ton of untapped potential waiting to be unlocked. By using Limit Break Stones, you can push that D grade all the way to A, giving your weapon a massive stat boost.
It’s not just a cosmetic change—this upgrade directly increases your damage output, making your gear significantly stronger in battles. And trust me, you’re going to feel the difference!
How To Get & Use Limit Break Stones
Now, you’re probably wondering—where do you even find the Limit Break Stones?
There are two main ways to get them:
- Chests: You can find Limit Break Stones inside chests scattered across the world. However, these chests spawn randomly, so always keep an eye on your surroundings. Some areas are more likely to have them, but you’ll need a good eye and some luck to farm them efficiently.
- Fishing: Yes, you can actually fish for Limit Break Stones! But before you grab your fishing rod—be warned: the drop rate is low. If you’re a fan of fishing or just want a chill way to farm, go for it. Otherwise, I recommend focusing on chest hunting for a faster grind.
Got some Limit Break Stones? Here’s how to use them:
- Open your inventory and select a Limit Break Stone.
- Choose the stat you want to upgrade (Sword, Strength, Defense, or Fruit).
- Apply the upgrade and watch as your stat grade increases, making your weapon stronger.
To fully limit break a single stat, you’ll need five stones. Since there are four main stats, that means you’ll need 20 stones total to fully max out your weapon’s potential.
It’s a grind, but the increase in damage is definitely worth it.
Is Limitbreaking Worth It?
To answer this question, I ran a direct damage test between two identical swords—one without a limit break and one fully maxed out.
For the test, I used:
- Maxed-out Red Mist
- Truth Seeker Race
- Maxed-out Christmas Coat
Here are the results:
- M1 damage with no Limit Break: 1.6M
- M1 damage with a maxed Limit Break: 1.8M
That’s a 200K difference just for basic M1s. Now imagine the impact on abilities—since the damage boost scales by percentage, the gap becomes even bigger when using skills.
So, is Limit Breaking worth it? Absolutely. If you’re serious about maximizing your power in Verse Piece, this is an upgrade you don’t want to skip.
