One cook named Gourmand Toki also requires our help to find Mushboom Finger Fungi and we’ll tell you how to get him some.
How to Gather 3 Mushboom Finger Fungi | Fungus Finger Fun
This side quest tasks players with collecting three Mushbooms Finger Fungi and giving them to an NPC named Gourmand Toki who wanted these ingredients to make a nice delicacy.
One can find Mushboom finger fungi by harvesting them from a creature called the Mushbooms. For this quest players will need to:
- Look for Mushbooms in Aery Passage
- Defeat 3 Mushbooms to obtain Mushboom finger fungi from each one.
Here’s a full walkthrough on how to achieve the above tasks.
Searching for the Mushbooms
The quest, Fungus Finger Fun, when activated, requires players to collect 3 Mushboom Finger Fungi in the game. To trigger this quest, talk to Gourmand Toki who’s located near the western exit.
Talk to him, accept the quest, and head off on your adventure to find these items requested by the NPC.
To find the Mushbooms, fats travel to the Vale of Wind entrance. From there go over to Aery Passage. Take a good look at the map below to learn the two spots where you’re most likely to encounter Mushbooms.
It’s worth pointing out you can complete the objective to another side quest in Aery Passage. So before you head there, take the Darni’s Painting side quest given by Traveller Fiona and head over to Aery Passage to complete another quest on your way! Now you’re likely to find the first two mushrooms in the narrower pathway on the left and your last one towards the West. After you encounter your first two, simply exit the canyon and head south. You’ll find the last Mushboom near the southwest canyon.
Defeating the Mushbooms
Since the Mushbooms are weak to slash attacks, try using classes with slash weapons like Val’s Guard. A couple of rapid slashes should allow you to eliminate the mushrooms seamlessly.
However, since there may be two of them attacking you at once, it’s always advised to keep your guard up and dodge when required.
For defeating each Mushboom, players acquire One Mushboom Finger Fungi.
Unfortunately, this small spoil of war is not for players to keep and collect. Once you’ve collected all three, you’ll need to take them to Gourmand Toki in exchange for something better and more valuable, 1x Arrow Rain.
The Arrow Rain reward makes this entire journey worth it. So go over to Gourmand Taki, accept the quest, and get him some raw ingredients!
