There is no shortage of side activities to complete in Visions of Mana, the brand new follow up to an old but not forgotten JRPG series published by none other than Square Enix. The Memory of a Fish side quest is one such activity, and it’s just one of the many side quests in the game. Read along to find out how you can get this quest done!

How to Get Iffish Fillets | Memory of a Fish Quest

If you’re here, it’s cause you spoke with the old Poised Liegard at the Free City of Tsaata. He has but a humble request, which is for you to find some Iffish fillets just like his father used to bring him back in the day.

Upon accepting the quest, all you need to do is gather five Iffish fillets. For now, leave the Free City of Tsaata and head over to the beach in the western part of Khaswia Moors.

Just walk around this area and you’ll find a bunch of Iffish spawns. They will be around level 16, which you should be pretty close or equal to by now, so they won’t be an issue at all.

If you’re lucky, a single pack may just be all you need to get all five Iffish fillets. If not, there’s loads o them in the general vicinity. It’s that simple.

Once you have all of the Iffish fillets that you need, just return to the Poised Liegard and hand them over to complete the quest. After a bit of dialogue, he will reward you with a few thousand Lucre. Not bad for a task that is comically easy to complete.

And that wraps up this quick and simple side quest. If you are starving for more loot, check out this guide on where to find all of the treasure chests at Fallow Steppe in Visions of Mana and hopefully get more than just money this time around!
