Visions of Mana is now out, and in spite of the unfortunate situation with the studio that made it, the game itself has been pretty alright as far as JRPGs go. As a typical game under the JRPG genre, there are a ton of side quests to complete, just like “No Taste Like Home.” Read on to learn how to complete this deceptively simple side quest!

How to Get Ledgas Bay Meal | No Taste Like Home Quest

After receiving the No Taste Like Home side quest from Historian Naaz, your only objective now is to go and track down “Miss Fleyr”. That NPC in particular is the only one who can cook the traditional meal that Naaz wants.

So, the first step is to travel to Ledgas Bay and head to the stalls near the piers. There, you’ll find Fleyr the Foodie, who should have an exclamation mark icon over her head. Speak with her to get to the next part of the quest.

This actually initiates an entirely different side quest called Ingredients for Success, which requires you to grab a few stuff to help her whip up a stew with all of the fish she’s holding onto.

We actually also have a guide on how to complete Ingredients for Success, but let’s go through the objectives right here. Basically, you just need to find the following ingredients:

  • 1x Piquant Parsley – These grow in Khaswia Moors.
  • 1x Jumblebeans – You can get these from Ahrvet’s Pasture.
  • 1x Trisparagus – These can be found at Pritta Ridge just outside of Ledgas Bay.

If you check the map while you have this side quest active, you should be able to see a blue circle that marks the general area where each ingredient can be found. As such, they shouldn’t be too hard to find.

Once you have all three ingredients with you, return to Fleyr the Foodie to complete the additional side quest we just got. This will get you a portion of her Ledgas Seafood Stew, which is exactly what we needed from her.

All that’s left to do is return to Historian Naaz at Khaswia Moors and hand him the food you worked hard to get. It won’t be for nothing though, as he will reward you with a Throwing Knife for your troubles!

The Throwing Knife will grant you the “Throwing Knife” ability (very creative, I know) that lets you, as the name implies, chuck a bunch of blades at enemies to deal slash damage.

That pretty much wraps up this entire quest, which is technically a two in one ordeal. While you’re here, check out our guide on how to complete the A Force to Bee Reckoned With side quest as well, just in case you missed it!
