Warcraft Rumble is a mobile strategy game based on the popular WarCraft franchise, and it features a wide range of collectible minis that you use to summon units in order to beat your opponents in either PVE or PVP fights. In this guide, we’ll be showcasing a deck that makes use of the Old Murk-Eye leader.
Credits go to Mr Brute for putting this deck concept together and climbing with it.
PVP Old Murk-Eye Deck Guide
For this deck and the strategies revolving around it, you will need to make use of the following units and spells:
- Old Murk-Eye – Equipped with the Marathon of the Murlocs talent as it can be incredibly useful especially during overtime.
- Polymorph – This helps you quickly dispatch enemies when combined with your other DPS troops, and it can get rid of certain problematic units in a pinch.
- Quilboar – Equipped with Tunnel Vision, it can be really good at securing chests.
- Prowler – Can also be good for securing chests.
- Skeleton Party – With the Corpse Run talent, it can be used to constantly apply pressure to the enemy tower.
- Gryphon Rider – Used primarily for baiting out S.A.F.E. Pilots and spells.
- S.A.F.E. Pilot – Can be used with either the Gnomish Cloaking Device or Comin’ In Hot talent depending on your preferences.
How To Use Deck?
Wait for your opponent to deploy the first unit before playing Murkeye, positioning it on the right lane to minimize spell value.
Assess your opponent’s counters and refrain from overly aggressive plays early on. Cycling through Gryphon, Miner, Quilboar, and Wolf (totaling 8 gold) should allow you to cycle back to another Murkeye.
The ideal thing to do right at the start is to secure the middle chest with a Quilboar, then play Old Murk-Eye at the side lane.
Options for mid-game strategies:
- Option 1: Apply pressure on side towers by advancing down all three lanes. Turn your Murlocs away from under the bridge, send only Prowler to collect the chest, and avoid circling across the bridge to deny S.A.F.E Pilot value.
- Option 2: If S.A.F.E Pilot is not in the cycle or is missed, circle the left lane across the bridge, merge with the right lane, or send Murlocs down the mid lane and converge the assault at the opponent’s main tower. Adjust with Quilboar and Polymorph as needed.
Stay aggressive throughout the match, especially in overtime. If you play it right, you can surprise your enemy with a quick Skeleton Party and S.A.F.E. pilot drop right at their main tower and end the game before they can react.
Specific Matchups
- Against Baron – Target the same lane as their Baron, Necromancer, etc., and use Quilboar or Polymorph to clean up efficiently.
- Facing Rend – Split your units to prevent value for Safe Pilot or Whelp Eggs, expecting to outcycle the opponent in Rend decks.
- Opposing General Drak – Use Polymorph to halt their Drak/Shaman push, taking advantage of their weakened defenses on other lanes.
- Versus Tirion – Deploy Polymorph to nullify Tirion’s divine shield talent.

And that’s pretty much it for this deck in Warcraft Rumble. It’s a highly aggressive deck that relies on constant pressure, so keep pushing your opponent back if you’re going to try this out!
