In any game, there will always be a precursor race of some sort. Everyone will always have stories and one-hour monologues of how they came to be, and Warframe is no exception. Here you can even farm the Ayatan Sculptures they left behind!
And what better way to acknowledge ancient history than to peddle bits and pieces of them to random vendors across the galaxy? But if you’re more of a collector then you can always stash them in your Orbitor as they do make pretty decorations!
In this guide, we’ll help you get your hands on some of the finest Ayatan artifacts in the known world, with a little bit of legwork included of course!
Ayatan Sculpture Farming Guide 2023 | Warframe
There are multiple ways of farming Ayatan Sculptures, you can even find them on regular missions, but this is only a rare occurrence.
You have to be light on your feet AND be a shrewd kleptomaniac as well so you better keep your Loot Detector handy!
Ayatan Sculptures have a 10% chance to spawn in your game, which means that one of the boxes you see on your map can have the item inside with a little bit of luck.
If no boxes appear then you can equip one or all of the mods that will be listed below to increase your chances:
- Thief’s Wit – Highlights mods throughout the environment and the minimap. +42 loot radar
- Loot Detector – Shows loot crates on your minimap. +30 loot radar
- Animal Instinct – +30 loot radar and +18 enemy radar
So what DO you do when you find one? Well, just walk up and interact with it and finish the mission! Be prepared to be disappointed most of the time as the maps are quite big, which increases your chances of missing them from time to time.
If you’re fairly new then the other place worth checking out is Maroo’s Bazaar, a relay station that can be found on the orbit of Mars. Talk to Maroo and choose the dialog option that says “I’m looking for Ayatan Treasures.”
This will start a mission that will require you to find an Ayatan Sculpture, so basically a clear guarantee of getting one!
You can always do Ayatan Sculpture missions for Maroo (whenever available) by going to the Alerts section of your navigation menu.
If you have an alert for the treasure hunt then that means you can do it, the alert becomes available only at the start of each week once, but there are still other ways to get your hands on one!
The second way will require you to join a Syndicate, do that, start a Syndicate mission and search for your sculptures the same way you normally would for Syndicate Medallions.
You can also do this on the Zariman and search for the Voidplumes.
Also, you can try maps with a smaller tile set since they spawn loot crates, like Oestrus on Eris.
Head in there, destroy the boxes and pray that you can get a sculpture. If not then the loot you received will still be worth it.
If time is not on your side then investing in the Golden Instinct ability at Helminth is another good option to consider, this will directly show you the way toward the nearest sculpture when used.
It can lead you to a rare crate sometimes as well, if there’s nothing then the ability won’t be used and you will be told that the land is barren.
The last method of gathering sculptures is through Arbitrations. The best and most reliable source of Ayatan Sculptures but also the most difficult, each rotation will net you a sculpture along with a massive amount of Endo at the end.
And those are the different ways to get Ayatan Sculptures!
Remember to insert some stars that you can get from Storage Containers and lockers into the statues to greatly increase their Endo value!
