The medieval action fighting game genre has been having a lot of titles over the past few months and Warhaven is the newest one to be released. The game features different classes with their own weapons, abilities and playstyles, as well as immortals that you can transform to from time-to-time that can turn the tide of battle. Warhaven is a team versus team game where you try to capture and hold points while defeating the enemy team in great looking maps. In this guide we’ll look through the Guardian class and the Immortal Darkgale.
How To Play Guardian Class & Darkgale Immortal Guide For Warhaven
The Guardian class, true to its name, is a tank class that’s goal is to tank as much damage as possible so that your teammates can survive. This class doesn’t have the best damaging abilities, but it makes up for it with its impressive defenses. Not only that but the immortal it can transform to is probably the best one for dealing lots of damage to a clump of enemies.
Here are the abilities that the Guardian class has:
- Sprint Attack: A great opener when sprinting towards a position to get a big hit in.
- Shield Charge: You raise your shield and charge at the enemy, dealing damage and protecting your front at the same time.
- Shield Wall: You become immobile as you plant your shield and be immune to frontal assault for a short time. Allies can also use you as a platform while doing this.
- Yield!: A knockback skill great for dispersing enemies in an area to get some heat off of you.
- Resilience and Resilience Recovery: You get resilience which helps you in taking more hits for the team.
The Guardian is there to take the shots, keep the squishier allies alive and take the heat of the enemy attacks. You have high survivability and with a great healer in the party you can really stay in the fight for long periods of time.
Darkgale
The immortal for this class is a mounted spearman that can charge at enemies dealing massive damage and impaling them. By far the coolest looking immortal in the game and they also have the most gruesome kill animations.
Darkgale works well with clumped up enemies since his charge ability will have 4 spears around him that can hit a wide area near him, having a chance of impaling multiple enemies!
Congratulations you now know the basics of using the Guardian in Warhaven, now go out there and try this class out!
