The Medieval fighting game genre is fairly new compared to other genres like RPGs and Point and Click Adventure games but it’s a genre that looks like it’ll stay. From games like For Honor to Chivalry, the medieval fighting games have been popping out recently, and one of the newer games is Warhaven. The game features multiple classes that you can play as, each with their different abilities, weapons and playstyles. The game is a team versus team game where you capture and defend points while fighting the enemy team. In this guide we’ll show you how to play the Warhammer class and one of the Immortals.

How to Play Warhammer & Darkgale Class Guide In Warhaven

The Warhammer class just from the looks alone is a class that can deal heavy damage. That’s their whole shtick, to hit hard with a big metal stick. Something about its primal simplicity can resonate with anyone who plays this game. Even its normal attacks hit hard, and his abilities can even down some of the squishier classes in one hit.

Here are the abilities you get when playing the Warhammer:

  • Sprint Attack: A big downward hit after a sprint, it can deal massive damage and can be a great opener to a fight.
  • Hammer Blow: A charged attack that when fully charged can even down some of the classes in one hit.
  • Headbutt: Disrupts an enemy attack, if done right it can even stun them, which can lead to easy hits on them or even their downfall.
  • Ground Slam: A big AOE attack those damages anyone near the point of impact. You jump up, you hit the ground with your hammer, simple and effective.
  • Spike Barricade: A strange ability the Warhammer has, you can place a barricade to deny a point for a bit.

The Warhammer class is a great class if you want to deal as much damage as possible. Its big swings can hurt and can easily take down low health enemies with ease.

The only problem with the class is its low mobility and no actual ability to get out of combat besides defeating enemies to stop the combat. You don’t have the survivability of a Guardian so keep that in mind, pick your targets, stick to your team and you’ll be racking kills quick!

The Darkgale class is an immortal you can transform in the game. It’s one of the coolest ones in the game as well and in our guide on using the guardian we go in-depth on the strengths of this immortal. You can check the article here: Warhaven: How To Play Guardian Class & Darkgale Immortal Guide.

Congratulations you now know the basics of using the Warhammer class in Warhaven, now go out there and try this heavy hitting class out!
