Hunting games are about patience, tracking your target animal, setting up the perfect shot and taking them down quick and clean. Often these animals travel in herds and are found in grazing grounds or water spots for them to drink. The latter part is an easy way to spot animals in the game since it’s almost guaranteed that they need water sooner or later.

For this money-making guide you’ll need to be at a certain location. At the start you would have spawned at Cottonwood, from there head west to the He Devil Mountains off to the western most camp site. There you should activate the campfire which should activate the site.

You should also get yourself a Hunting Tier 5 rifle, because we’ll be hunting Tier 5 animals for this guide.

Once you’ve done that, interact with the campfire and skip the time to around 12PM. Once the time has skipped, you’ll see animals around the nearby lake.

Every time you change time here for around 4-hour intervals you’ll find a herd of animals that would spawn here. The animals would either be Big Horn Sheep or Mountain Goats. Go ahead and shoot as many as you can on the head.

This is a great farming spot because you can just change the time and the animals would be within view and close enough to get a good shot. Just repeat again and again until you down as many animals as you can and you’ll be swimming in cash in no time!
