AS Wayfinders, the goal of the players is to fight against powerful entities that have taken over the planet. Due to the multiplayer nature of the game, you can team up with your friends and take on missions and raids together.
Many players are confused about how to locate Vrek, the Chemist, in the game. This guide will focus on how to find the chemist as part of the Moxious Betrayer quest.
How To Find Vrek The Chemist
Players can find Vrek as part of the Noxious Betrayer quest in the game. Many players do not properly read the description of the quest and end up scouring the Pit area looking for the NPC.
If you read the description of the quest more carefully, it requires you to complete an expedition into the Pit. Additionally, you will need to use the Flora Imbuement as otherwise, the chemist will not come out of hiding.
The imbuement can be added when selecting the difficulty and the expedition in the menu. The Pit does have a Toxic mutator which results in your character taking damage over time if hit by the venomous enemies.
The spawn of the chemist might vary from game to game. In our case, we found him in a small room that was just to the right of the last Drill. Inside the room was an NPC named Old Kite. Upon moving closer into the room Vrek the Chemist spawned and the quest objective changed to defeating him.
After defeating the chemist boss, he drops a bunch of vials amongst which is an Antidote. Simply give the Antidote to Old Kite, and you will end up saving his life. This will also complete the Noxious Betrayer quest, and you will receive the rewards.
