Darktide features an assortment of gear and perks that are common in other video games. Of course, we have those that grant extra XP, more ammo, more health, and many more. But sometimes, there are perks that you aren’t sure what they are, yet they are in the game. Like the Wounds perk that you can get when you equip gear that has the perk on it. What does it do? Judging from the name, it sounds like it makes you easily wounded. We are here to answer that question on what does Wounds do.
Warhammer 40k Darktide – What Are Wounds?
When you get gear, you will sometimes see this little perk called Wounds. It can be +1 or +2 or even more. What Wounds does is granting you an extra bar of health. +1 grants you 1, +2 grants you two and so on. However, this does not mean you will be given more HP. The extra bar health is there, but it’s only there to stop you from outright dying from corruption.
Besides giving you a second wind, essentially, the Wounds health bar takes only 25% damage compared to the standard third of health bar. Might not seem like much, but the difference is there.
