Darktide is a very fun game that will have you beating up hordes upon hordes of enemies at once. Although it is a very fun experience, it must be said that a lot of the things aren’t all that well explained. One point that is basically left to nothing is the Impact Attribute. That is why in this guide we are going to be covering it and explaining how it works. Let’s get started.

Warhammer 40K – What Does the Impact Attribute Do in Darktide?

Impact is basically Stagger in Darktide Warhammer 40K. It is an attribute that will affect how much you stagger your enemies. The easiest to explain is, more powerful weapons with more Impact can drive back foes further, giving the user more breathing room between blows or even a window of opportunity to exploit a tactical advantage, such as a special ability or to simply get away.

The more Impact you have the more you are able to stagger enemies and make them immobile. There are some enemies that are simple to stagger and push back, while at the same time some that are basically un-movable with a lot of Impact resistance. To be able to stagger them you will want to update your Impact attribute.

It is a very good attribute to have if you want to offset enemies, like for example Crushers maybe. You will get their animations and movement to be staggered which will lead to your crew to easily defeating them.

The Impact Attribute doesn’t increase your damage, unfortunately. It does however increase the chances of you being able to kill your enemies. Making the foes in front of you immobile or “stunned” will give you plenty of room and time to completely destroy them. We hope that this guide has answered your questions that you had about the Impact and Stagger element of Darktide. It is a very good attribute to go for especially if you are a support type of player. Have fun experimenting with it!
