Potions are one of the core classes that you will take during your stay at Hogwarts, this is where you hone your skills of carefully dumping the most unusual ingredients you can find along the valley until you create a glow that can substitute as a weapon of mass destruction.

You can create almost anything given that you have the correct components, but finding the right ones can sometimes prove to be rather difficult.

Thankfully finding Knotgrass Sprig is the exact opposite, now let’s take a look around and see where we can find some!

Hogwarts Legacy – Where to Find Knotgrass Sprig

If you’re looking for a substitute for your Disillusionment spell then the Invisibility Potion is your next best option.

This is where Knotgrass Sprig will be needed so it’s always appreciated to have a few on hand.

For this ingredient, all you have to do is visit The Magic Neep over at Hogsmeade.

You can get there by taking a left turn from the bridge or just teleporting to the West Hogsmeade Floo spot. From there you’ll be able to buy the ingredient from Timothy Teasdale for 350 galleons.

Make sure to buy the seeds as well in order to grow your own supply later on.

It’s worth more than just taking a complete shortcut and buying the sprig on its own as you only have to wait for a few minutes for them to grow. This gives you time to roam around the castle and see if you missed anything important!

And that’s how you find Knotgrass Sprig.

If you don’t like the idea of opening and closing your map all the time then consider putting the Hogwarts Legacy interactive map on a second monitor to check if you missed anything worth of value inside the village.

Now go out there and get mixing!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
