If you are afraid of the water or might even have thalassophobia, this quest and guide will not be for you. You are going to be going into the deep deep depths of the Black Lake filled with many mysteries and scary stories.

In this guide, we shall be diving together so do not be afraid and we will help you find the Astrolabe. Let’s get started.

Hogwarts Legacy – Where to Find the Astrolabe in the Black Lake

You will of course need to swim on top of the Black Lake so that you’ll be able to dive in. But do not just go diving straight away.

Instead, just swim on top of the lake and reach the darkened spot on the mini-map as shown in the picture above. Only then you are going to want to dive inside.

While in this darkened area you are going to come across a lot of white spots on the water. You shall be required to swim next to them and then just hit the dive button. After a second or two of waiting, you will come up with an item.

The third or fourth item should be the one that will give you the Astrolabe. Once you get it, simply go back and swim back to the shore where you can return the quest.

We hope that this guide has helped you out on what you needed to do in order to complete the Astrolabe search in the Black Lake. Have fun diving yourself!
