The G.E.T.A. The Captain quest in World of Warcraft: War Within will send you deep into the sewers of Undermine to deal with an unusual threat, an oversized cave skipper known as The Captain. G.E.T.A. The Captain Quest Guide
- Start the Quest
- Speak with Bruxie Slyhook at G.E.T.A. Headquarters (33.00, 52.18) to accept the quest.
- Find the Sewer Entrance
- Head to Undermine and locate the sewer entrance at /way 55.10, 62.41.
- Look for a hobgoblin NPC named Harris standing next to a hatch in the ground.
- Open the hatch and stand over it for a second or two to drop into the sewers.
- Place the Bait
- Once inside, interact with the trap to place the bait. This will lure The Captain out of hiding.
- Defeat The Captain
- Start the fight and take down the massive cave skipper. Make sure you’re prepared, as it might put up a fight!
- Retrieve the Trophy
- Loot The Captain’s Head as proof of your victory.
- Turn in the Trophy
- Return to Bruxie Slyhook at G.E.T.A. Headquarters (32.82, 52.14).
- The turn-in marker may be bugged (as of 2/25/25), so manually click on the wall behind her to complete the quest.
For your heroic efforts, you’ll receive:
- 12,200 experience
- Your choice of gear from the Certified Hunter set:
- Belt of the Certified Hunter
- Helm of the Certified Hunter
- Boots of the Certified Hunter
- Wristwraps of the Certified Hunter
- 23 gold and 40 silver
