When you create such a fantastic game with Breath of the Wild, it’s hard finding a way to top that with a sequel. But somehow, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom manages to do that by adding a feature that no one really thought would work: Autobuilding.
This allows Link to create contraptions like cars with the simple click of a button, and it makes traversal so much more fun. But how do you unlock it? In this guide, I will show you what you need to do so!
How To Unlock Auto-build
To unlock the Autobuild ability, you will need to travel into the Great Abandoned Mine. The mine is located in the Central Hyrule Depths, and its coordinates are -0752, -1875, -0524.
When you make it to the Central Hyrule Depths, head south until you see a large fortress like building. This is the Great Abandoned Central Mine.
Inside the Great Abandoned Central Mine, you will find a couple of researchers and a Steward Construct, which you need to interact with in order to unlock the Autobuild mechanic.
After interacting with the Steward Construct, you will get the Autobuild feature and a tutorial will start, where you have to restore two objects. Shortly after that, you will have to fight a boss. Master Kohga is the leader of the Yiga Clan, and he will fight you by using vehicles.
Master Kohga is actually very strong and can easily beat you if you are early in the game. You can fight him, or you can simply fast travel to another location for now and come back to him when you are ready. Either way, you got what you came for, which is the Autobuild ability.
That’s all you need to know on how to unlock the Autobuild ability in Tears of the Kingdom. Did you manage to get the ability? Let us know in the comments below.
