Find the Noobies Morphs has recently released a new update, which means a whole bunch of characters were added out in the wild. A lot of these are very simple to get, but the Black Hole Noobie is an entirely different story with all of the steps you need to take before you can get it. In this guide, I will try to guide you through the process of unlocking it!
How to Get the Black Hole Noobie
First up, if you are new to the game, you will first need to make it to the space ship map. If you are unsure of how to do this, here is a quick summary of all the steps you have to follow all the way from the starting area for new players:
- Step 1: Activate the bus stop and get in the passenger seat when the truck arrives
- Step 2: Find all of the rocket parts in the city
- Part #1: Wrench in the gas station
- Part #2: Rocket gear in the police station
- Part #3: Turbo Engine beside the hospital
- Part #4: Metal panel in the playground
- Step 3: Attach each part to the broken rocket in the space station
- Step 4: Enter the space station and press the button in the third floor
- Step 5: Finally, walk back to the rocket and wait for the cutscene to end
Once that is done, you now have access to the space ship. Upon re-entering the game, head over to the room with the “Navigation” sign over the door. From here, approach the star chart on the wall and enter the Moon.
Once there, make your way over to the building with the number “90” on the side. Enter through the glass doors and then jump through the corner that is highlighted in the image below.
There, you will find a hole that you can enter. This will take you to a secret room. When you make it down there, go down all of the stairs until you find the portal room to the left.
Traveling Through the Biomes
Remember this place, as you will have to keep returning to this room. The portal will change every 30 minutes or so, and you will need to travel through varying biomes for the next few parts.
The main idea is that you will have to acquire various items by entering through different colors of portals. Because of this, you might have to hop servers after each of the steps below. You can do them in ANY ORDER.
NOTE: For the next few sections, I will be going through the steps based on the color of the portal. To be more efficient, I suggest skipping to the step corresponding to the portal’s color in your server right now.
Step #1: Yellow or White Portal – Sun Biome
If your portal is currently white or very bright yellow, this will take you to an obby that features an extra, particularly deadly twist. Basically, you have to travel all the way to the end while also avoiding explosive orbs being shot by the entity at the pyramid.
While you are here, check out the guide I wrote on how to get the Shine Noobie as well, since you will be heading in the same direction anyway.
My main tip here is to take your time and also find cover whenever you are low on health. The orbs are almost impossible to completely avoid, so you will take some damage as you do this.
The goal is to reach the end and then grab the Radiant Sun Orb at the top of the pyramid. Don’t worry, the orb will stop shooting you as soon as you reach the area that the pyramid is on. Once you have claimed it, you will be killed instantly, but with the orb in your backpack.
Step #2: Green Portal – Aliens!
I kind of already did this part by accident while writing the guide for the Shine Noobie, but I can still walk you through the steps. When you first enter this biome, go up to the cliff to your left to get a free Piccale Noobie.
Then, head back down and approach he NPC with a yellow question mark over his head. After going through the dialogue options, accept his quest to receive a strange looking pizza in your inventory.
As the NPC told you, this pizza must be delivered to the person at the top of the mountain. The mountain up ahead is basically one vertical obby that just requires some simple parkour.
Take your time and take it one obstacle at a time. There is no time limit and no lethal traps to watch out for, so the only thing to keep in mind is to just not fall into the void.
Once you make it to the top, equip the pizza and then press Q to hold it. If you have a morph on, unequip it first so that you can hold the pizza. Speak to the NPC and exhaust his dialogue options until he gives you the Plasma Bomb.
After confirming that the Plasma Bomb is now in your inventory, your job in this biome is done! Reset your character to return to the space ship or re-enter the game for a different server.
Step #3: Red Portal – Blood Everywhere
If the portal is red, you will be sent to a strange and ominous realm with red mist and creepy stalks all around it. The first thing you need to do here is find rubies, with the first one being just beside the spawn.
Once you grab it, run to the opposite edge of the map from where you got the first ruby. There, you will find the next ruby just behind the cliff. You can’t miss it as long as you hug the wall at the very edge.
Grab it and you will receive the left ruby in your backpack. If you have a morph, you have to unequip it first so you can start holding items.
Now, turn back around and head back to where you started, where you will find a strange altar with glowing red lights. Here, you will need to place the rubies in the correct pillars.
Put either the left or right ruby in your hands from your backpack and then press Q to hold it. Then, approach a pillar and place the correct ruby in it, and repeat this for the other side. When done correctly, the map will explode after a brief moment.
Once you get the message that “Something fell…” you should make your way back to the cliff at the corner of the map, where the last ruby was hiding behind. Parkour your way up to the top by jumping on the very thin platforms on its sides.
When you make it to the top, you will find the Skull of Bloodlust just siting on a glowing red pedestal. You can also go up here before placing the rubies, but the skull won’t be there unless you do that first.
Take the Skull of Bloodlust and then return to the space ship by resetting your character once you have confirmed that the item is now in your backpack.
Step #4: Purple Portal – The Malignant Realm
If the portal is purple, you will be sent to an eerie and malignant biome. Here, you will have to first find the Nightfall Blade at the other end of the map from where you started.
Be careful not to touch the glowing teal floor. If you touch the teal floor, which is essentially “lava”, you will die and get sent back to the space ship. Do some simple platforming to reach the pedestal at the end and you can claim the blade!
Since I already had it, here is a screenshot of the purple portal and my character holding up the Nightfall Blade in the exact spot where it spawns.
Once you have the blade, you will have to return to the middle of the map and wait for a Malignant Noobie to spawn. You will have to defeat it to get the Heart of the Malignant item, which should now be in your backpack.
My only tip here is to jump on the platforms above the teal “lava” if you need to regenerate health. The Malignant Noobie will not leave the arena in the middle, and if there are no players nearby, he will run back to the very center.
Other players might also be present, so the fight itself should not be too hard. If you are alone, however, you will just have to take your time and regenerate after a few hits, as the combat isn’t very intuitive in this game.
The Malignant Noobie has an unknown respawn timer, though some say that he returns every 10 minutes or so. This is unconfirmed, so you will just have to wait there if the boss has not appeared in your server or was recently killed.
You can also hop servers until you find another purple portal, though I highly recommend just waiting for it no matter how long it takes. Once defeated, you will also unlock the Malignant Noobie as a morph!
Putting All the Pieces Together
So, just to recap, we needed to get one item from each of the possible biomes that the portal will send you. These are the following objects, which you should now have in your backpack:
- Radiant Sun Orb – Yellow / White Portal
- Heart of Malignant – Purple Portal
- Skull of Bloodlust – Red Portal
- Plasma Bomb – Green Portal
With all of these items on hand, go back to the Moon once more and then head down to the secret room. Instead of going to the portal room, you must turn around and enter through the opposite door.
Here, you will find a bunch of empty glass tubes. What you need to do here is place each object into a glass tube. There is no particular order that you have to put them in, so just hold each item and walk into a tube to place them there.
And maybe don’t be like the photo bomber in the example image below. I’m trying to show you how to do it, brother! Each glass tube will start to glow green once you put an item in it.
After putting all four items into the tubes, head back up the stairs and approach the control panel in the middle. You will have to zoom in to make the puzzle appear.
Basically, you will have to press the yellow buttons until you find the correct order. Each time you get an input correctly, it will turn green for a second. If you get it wrong, the buttons will turn red and you will have to repeat the sequence from the beginning.
This seems to be random for every player, so you will just have to keep going through trial and error. My suggestion is to assign a number to each button and then write down your unique sequence. Check the image below for an example of what I mean by this:
In my case, the solution was “8-6-4-4-8-3-2-8-8-1”. This is not going to be the same for you, so do not even try to use the same code.
Once you finally get the correct sequence down, you now have the option to Activate Upper & Lower Engine using the two red buttons on the panel. All you need to do now is hold E on both buttons to turn them green and watch the cutscene that follows!
Congratulations, you should now have the Black Hole Noobie unlocked after you get sucked into the black hole and respawn back in the space ship!
It is an incredibly flashy, almost trophy-like morph that basically turns your character into a jet black model holding up a large black hole above them. Flaunt it around at the moon, where you can see the whole morph in full!
That is pretty much everything you need to do in order to get the Black Hole Noobie, which was definitely worth all the effort for the bragging rights that it gives you!
