If you’ve been grinding GHOUL://RE and you’re looking to unlock Half-Human, you’re in the right place. Whether you’re here because you’re tired of your regular Ghoul or just want that clean dual-slot setup, my guide is gonna walk you through everything step-by-step. I’ve done the process myself and yeah, it’s not as overwhelming as it looks once you know exactly what you’re doing. It’s kinda like unlocking One-Eyed Ghoul, so if you’ve been down that road before, this’ll feel like a bit of déjà vu.

How to Get HALF-HUMAN

Before we dive into the steps, a quick refresher: In Ghoul://RE, Ghouls are the meat-loving monsters of Tokyo, super strong, fast, and crazy durable. They rely on RC cells and can evolve into even stronger versions like Kakuja. Now, Half-Human is the middle ground. It’s not just some edgy skin, it’s an advanced hybrid of Ghoul and human DNA that gives you massive buffs while still letting you keep your mind (and your drip).

What makes Half-Human special is its flexibility. You get access to different builds, powerful abilities, and best of all, once you unlock it, you can do some slot-flipping magic with your One-Eyed Ghoul too. More on that later.

Step 1: Max Out Your Ghoul

First things first, spawn in as a Ghoul. Your one and only mission here is to max out your progress. That means hitting SSS rank, having Kakuja unlocked, and stacking up around 10 million RC. Yep, that’s a big number, but you’ll need all of it.

Basically, don’t even think about Half-Human until your Ghoul is fully juiced up. If you’re trying to rank up fast as a Ghoul or CCG in Ghoul://RE and don’t know where to start, I’ve got you. I put together a full guide that breaks everything down step-by-step. Check it out if you wanna save yourself the headache.

Step 2: Talk to Vaz

Once your Ghoul is maxed, head over to Vaz at Anteiku. You’ll know you’re ready when he hits you with some poetic-sounding stuff like: “You stand at the edge. The veil hasn’t lifted…”

When that happens, congrats, you’re officially in the Half-Human pipeline.

Step 3: Get 30 PD Grips (Yeah, This is the Grind Part)

Here’s where things get a bit sweaty. Vaz now wants you to collect 30 PD kills (wipes). This is kinda like proving your worth. You can technically farm the same person, but to be safe (and in case the devs update something), it’s smarter to mix up your targets.

There’s an NPC on the bridge who’ll track your progress. Check in with them so you’re not second-guessing yourself or wasting time.

Step 4: Go Back to Vaz (Almost There)

Once you’ve got all 30 kills, go back to Vaz. No cryptic messages this time, he’ll flat out tell you: “You are ready.” When you see that, you’re good to go. Finish the final dialogue, confirm the wipe, and boom, you’ll respawn as Half-Human.

Tips & Shortcuts (To Speed Things Up)

  • Use an alt if you don’t feel like hunting down PD players. It still counts. Just make sure you’re wiping.
  • Server hop if PDs are scarce, plenty of players out there.
  • Already have One-Eyed Ghoul? You’re in luck. Once you unlock Half-Human, you can swap your slots, make your Ghoul slot Half-Human and your CCG slot OEG. It’s a two-for-one deal.
  • Don’t forget to bank your RC before wiping, or it’s gone.

Wrap-Up: Is Half-Human Worth It?

Absolutely. It’s not just about the power, it’s about the versatility. The progression is actually one of the easier ones in Ghoul://RE once you get the hang of it. Max your Ghoul, vibe with Vaz, grip some PDs, and you’re set. Plus, unlocking both Half-Human and OEG means you’ve basically conquered both sides of the war. Not bad for a day’s work. If you’re planning to pair your new Half-Human Ghoul with a top-tier weapon, don’t miss our Kagune tier list! We went through every single one in Ghoul://RE, yep, even the weird ones, and ranked them from worst to absolute god-tier. Whether you’re looking for style, speed, or straight-up damage, it’s all there to help you find the perfect match.
