The Seaking boss has been added in the most recent update of Shadovia. In case you’re having a hard time defeating the boss, or you just feel like you’re not fighting it fast enough, I’m here to help you out. In this guide, I’ll show you the most efficient and fastest way to kill the Seaking in the game. And trust me, it’s not that deep.
Fastest Way To Kill Seaking Guide
Well, I’m not sure if it’s going to get nerfed (considering how the devs have been acting recently), but as of writing, the most broken way to farm the Seaking is by using the Sweet Rapier weapon, which drops from the Grizzclaws boss (0.5% chance – oof!).
For more details or information, check out this guide on all the bosses in Shadovia, which covers everything you’ll need to do to spawn and farm the Grizzclaws boss!
Now, once you have the Sweet Rapier, simply make your way to the Seaking boss. (If you have no idea how to do that, check out the attached guide).
After spawning the Seaking boss, use its “R” Abiltiy to summon the spike stuff which serves like some type of trap for the Seaking’s charge attacks.
NOTE: Make sure to press down your R Ability all the way down for the entirety of the fight!
Also, the interaction reminds me of that Plants vs Zombies plant where Zombies that step on it get damaged – Yeah, it works similar to that! But this one is a bit “more extreme”.
Seaking Attack Pattern & Moveset
Also, if you don’t really have the best equipment, you’d want to know its moveset and attack patterns, which I’ll show below. Also, I’ll provide you some helpful tips and tricks that you can use do defeat the Seaking!
- Charge – The Seaking leaves behind a blue body double, swiftly dashing toward the player. (Yeah, the Sweet Rapier spikes will hurt)
- Bubble Storm – Hovering above the water, the Seaking approaches the player, releasing a barrage of bubbles. (Like Squirtle in Pokemon!)
- Bubble Blast – Quickly shoots a bubble towards the player.
- Roar – The Seaking pauses and roars to the skies; there isn’t really threat here, so take note as it will be most vulnerable during this stage.
As for the battle itself, expect the attack patterns to become faster as its HP comes closer to zero. If you don’t have good equipment, its attacks will hurt.
So, be careful and I advise that you take on the Seaking with enhanced jump capabilities, courtesy of the Slime Mount or a Jump Potion, enabling players to easily leap over the Seaking’s rather small frame.
That’s how you cheese and kill the Seaking in a matter of seconds in Shadovia. Though keep in mind that it might get nerfed really soon.
If that happens, consider using other weapons with similar damage like Wicked Dagger. If you have questions or concerns, feel free to leave them in the comments section below.
