There are items that you can easily stumble upon in any game as long as you keep progressing. Then there’s also items in games like Arcane Odyssey where you really have to go out of your way and nearly get yourself killed just to acquire a jar of dirt, or in this case Toxic Seawater.
But how do you get Toxic Seawater? Where should you go? And how can you get your hands on it without losing whatever’s left of your mind? All are very good questions, and will be answered as long as you stick around and read the guide below.
How to get Toxic Seawater Without Dying to Insanity
To get Toxic Seawater, you will have to sail (or swim if you’re not right in the head) into the Dark Sea. The Dark Sea is on the edge of the map so you can go in any direction you like. Once you’re inside of the Dark Sea, don’t go too far in or you’ll die. To remove any mystique the ominous fog that the dark sea has, this has been put in the game because the developers might add new content later on. It’s basically an invisible wall.
Having Toxic Seawater on hand is vital for making potions which summons waves when thrown back into the ocean. You can also use the item to add swimming speed to jewels. Don’t forget to bring a handful of jars before you dive in!
Now, jump off the boat and swim into the fog. Have your jars ready and wait for the Insanity notification to pop up on the bottom right corner of your screen. Once you see the notification, spam click your mouse button anywhere on the water while your jars are equipped.
Whether you have the desired amount or not, swim back to your boat. Staying in the dark sea fog will drain your health at an alarming rate. Your vision will also go dark, which is why we recommend to not swim too far off.
If you need a few more, you can always heal up or wait for your health to go back from the safety of your vessel. When your health is full, feel free to dive right back in. You can get at least four units of dark sea water before the need to return to your ship arises.
