Sonic.exe The Disaster is a new Roblox game that takes the beloved blue hedgehog and turns him into a monster that hunts other players down. In this survival horror game, players and expected to team up and survive against the Blue Blur so that they can escape. The game takes inspiration from a plethora of games such as Left 4 Dead and Call of Duty Zombies. This article will be a guide for the Shadow character that players can use in the game.

Shadow Character Guide

Abilities

The first ability Shadow has is the Dash ability which allows him to cover a significant distance over a short period. This is very useful to quickly gain distance from Sonic and prevent getting caught by him.

The second ability that Shadow has allows him to block any moves that Sonic does on him essentially. This is extremely useful since, if used correctly can allow you to stun Sonic as he attempts to grab you momentarily.

How to Use Abilities

The Dash is quite a simple move that is used primarily for just escaping Sonic if he is chasing you. It can also be utilized to cover distances quickly if you are making a run for the exit. The Block move is used to prevent Sonic from getting a hit on you. However, this requires the timing to be immaculate since missing the window will result in you possibly losing.

In most games that you play, you will notice Shadow simply playing for himself. This is mainly because his abilities just allow him to escape Sonic’s clutches and do not really affect his teammates. However, this does not mean these abilities cannot be used to the team’s advantage. For instance, you can use the Dash to revive your teammates quickly and then, once done, Dash away to safety.

Reviving teammate after Dashing

Moreover, the Dash can also be used to reach some locations that you cannot otherwise reach without this ability. This can help to keep Sonic busy and divert attention away from your teammates. Shadow’s Block can be used to keep Sonic busy momentarily, but other than that, it does not really have any other potential.

Team Placement

According to our opinion, Shadow belongs in the Mid Court and can be substituted in place of either Knuckles or Amy. This is valid in situations when Shadow uses the Block and then uses the Dash to go back to his original position. Shadow is not a frontline character, so leave that part of the field to your stunners. Your goal as Shadow should be to grab Sonic’s attention and keep him busy for as long as possible.

How to Use Block

Shadow’s main ability is the Block move, and if mastered can help you easily win the game. There are two ways that this move can be used. For the first method, you want to stay still and let Sonic come to you. Most of the time, Sonic takes this bait and attempts to attack you. When he does this, use the Block move to prevent the attack from hitting and then immediately Dash. Special care must be taken to time the block as Sonic is significantly fast, and you will be punished if his attacks are not blocked.

Blocking when standing still

The second method that you can use involves using the Block when facing Sonic from a different direction. Most players are not aware of this, but Shadow can block Sonic’s attacks even if he is not facing him. However, this does propel Shadow back, so you need to be aware of your surrounding when attempting to Block.

Passive Perk

Lastly, Shadow has one additional ability, but it isn’t seen that much since it is more of a perk. This is known as Nerves of Steel, allowing Shadow to pick himself up after getting hit by Sonic. This is a very broken move since it essentially gives the player an extra life.
