AOPG: How To Awaken Dragon Fruit Guide

Update 52 of A One Piece Game brings the most awaited, Dragon Awakening. This comes along with new accessories, teleport reworks, event chests and the Awakened Kaido. Being the fifth most viable fruit in the game, a lot of you have waited for this fruits’ awakening. In this guide, we will show you how to Awaken the Dragon Fruit in AOPG.

How to Awaken Dragon Fruit

The Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu, also known as the Dragon Fruit, is a type of Devil Fruit that belongs to the Mythical Zoan category. This means that it grants the user the ability to transform into an azure dragon. Let’s get into the steps that you’ll have to do to awaken this fruit.

Beast Key

In order to get the awakening, you must first need to get the Beast Key from Kaido in the Second Sea. The Boss is located in the island of Wano.

Attacks

Kaido is a very powerful and hard boss to defeat, here are his most notable attacks so you can plan on how to defeat him with ease.

• Kosanze Ragnaraku: He jumps into the air and spins his weapon, the Hassaikai, above his head. As he does this, he imbues the weapon with Haoshoku Haki, making it exude black lightning. He then swings it down with great force, smashing his opponent into the ground. This attack is incredibly powerful and can cause devastating damage.
• Thunder Bagua: He dashes forward with great speed, swinging his Hassaikai in an arc. The Hassaikai is imbued with Haoshoku Haki, and as it swings, it creates a powerful shockwave that can knock opponents back and deal significant damage. This attack has a large area of effect, making it difficult to dodge.

After defeating him there is a chance that he will drop the Beast Key, however this is not guaranteed so you may need to defeat the boss a couple times.

Fire Dragon Scroll

To spawn the Awakened Kaido Boss, you must travel to the Third Sea and give the Beast Key to the Dragon Summoner. The Dragon Summoner will then spawn the Awakened Kaido Boss.

Once you have defeated Awakened Kaido, there is a 5% chance that he drops the Fire Dragon Scroll. You can then use this scroll to awaken your Dragon Fruit.
