Pikmin 4 is a beloved franchise that many may know from Super Smash Bros. But, it is also a franchise that has been around since 2001. Just recently, Pikmin has gained a new entry with Pikmin 4, which many fans are happy to be able to experience a new entry in the new Pikmin franchise. It features all of the classic gameplay that players love, but it may confuse those who are just jumping into the Pikmin franchise. In this guide, I will show you how you can complete the 8th Story: Crowded Kitchen level in Pikmin 4.
8th Story: Crowded Kitchen Guide
When the level starts, break the vases on your right to get some Pikmins. There is also a treasure there in the form of an eggplant. Send Oatchi to get the treasure.
Next, throw the Pikmins at the mushrooms that’s blocking the way. On the right, send Oatchi to get the cucumber, as it is another treasure.
Behind the mushroom is a purple flower, which you can use to upgrade your Pikmins. Throw all of the Pikmins you have on you and then pluck them out once they’re done being upgraded into Purple Pikmins.
While that’s happening, have Oatchi crash into the wall to get the two oranges down to the ground. Then send Oatchi to collect both of them.
Next, go back to the starting area and throw your Pikmins on to the bag to push it down so you can open up a way for later.
Once the way through is open, turn around and go through the area that is covered in mushrooms. Throw your Pikmins at each individual mushroom to break them down so you can go through.
After breaking through the mushroom, look to your right and you should see more vases. Charge up Oatchi and rush through them so you can break them open and get more Pikmins.
After getting the Pikmins, go back and go to the area that was previously blocked by the bag before. There, you will find a treasure that is worth 40. Throw the new Pikmins you got and let them do the work.
While the Pikmins deal with the large treasure, have the Purple Pikmins carry the rest of the treasures that are in the back of the room. Just throw at least one per treasure. Throw two if the requirements are above 12.
There is also a large pumpkin in the same room. Have Oatchi pick up the pumpkin and bring it back for collection. Under it, you’ll find more Pikmins, so make sure to pluck them out of the ground.
Continue forward and you will find another treasure spot with a gold that is worth 30. But, instead of doing that, have one Purple Pikmin pull the plant that is stuck on the side out.
Go back to where the mushrooms are and throw the new Pikmins you have at them so they can get rid of the mushrooms in the area.
While the Pikmins deal with the orange mushrooms, you will deal with the green mushrooms at the back. Use Oatchi to charge through the mushrooms to destroy them.
With the mushrooms gone and the sticky mold removed, have Oatchi collect the treasure and bring it back to where it can be collected.
When the White Pikmins finally completely remove the mushrooms and the sticky mold, a golden treasure will pop up. But, instead of getting that, go back to where the plant is and throw your White Pikmins at the gold that’s in that room.
Go back to where your ship is and collect all of the Pikmins there.
After collecting them, go to the gold that was hidden by the sticky mold and throw your Pikmins at it so they can collect it.
Go back into the room where the gold was and throw two Purple Pikmins at the apple and one at the dragon fruit so they can bring it back to the ship.
After that, go back to the ship and collect the Pikmins waiting for you there. Then, go back to the room with the gold and throw them at it so they can break it apart faster and bring it back to the ship.
Afterwards, just wait until they bring the treasures back to the ship and the level will automatically complete.
