The Waterwraith, a boss from Pikmin 4, can be found in all of the sublevels of the Engulfed Castle. The Waterwraith has a generally humanoid shape, with a suggestion of a head, body, arms, and legs. However, its features are not distinct, and its body is watery and transparent. How To Beat Waterwraith
The Waterwraith is one of the easiest “boss” units to defeat in Pikmin 4. It can be found in the Engulfed Castle levels. The beast appears, falling from the sky with a loud crash, making two thuds and a sound like an underwater scream. It lifts its front roller and smashes it on the ground, crushing any Pikmin underneath. This boss is intended to be defeated by Purple Pikmins.
Good news for Pikmin fans, the Waterwraith makes it return! However, it seems a bit weaker. From an absolute menace to a complete pushover. If you’re having a hard time beating this “boss”, don’t worry, it’s not hard. Just follow these simple steps.
Boss Fight
This is a boss enemy in the Engulfed Castle that can only be damaged by Purple Pikmin. The only way to defeat it is to survive until the final sublevel, where you can get Purple Pikmin in the Violet Candypop Buds.
Purple Pikmins are incredibly strong and durable. Additionally, they are ten times more powerful as other Pikmins and produce strong gravitaional shockwaves when thrown. However, they are also slow and sluggish, making them less agile than other Pikmin types.
When a Purple Pikmin lands on or near the Waterwraith, it stuns the creature and causes it to turn purple. In this stunned state, the Waterwraith is vulnerable to all Pikmin attacks. Once its health wheel appears, you can continue damaging it with your Pikmins
Furthermore, if the boss turns translucent or watery again. Throw the Purple Pikmin again to make it vulnerable and keep on attacking it.
When the Waterwraith is defeated, the rollers that protect it will crumble.
The Waterwraith will then run aimlessly around the cave, unable to harm your Pikmin.
To completely defeat the enemy, attack it first with Purple Pikmin. Once it is weakened, you can easily attack it with other Pikmin.
When it is defeated, it will disappear, and it will trouble you no more. Additionally, you will be rewarded with a new gear and 8500 Sparklium.
