A Blood Moon event in Remnant 2 can be rare sometimes. In your hours of playtime, you may only stumble on a Blood Moon once or up to 3 times without even knowing it. It can happen in different regions at a certain place and time.
In this article, I will show you the best method of farming Blood Moon Essence and how to start a Blood Moon event. Keep in mind that this will take some time and be patient. It will be worth it once you start to gather this rare material.
How To Farm Blood Moon Essence
The Blood Moon Essence is obtained by shooting down purple orbs. However, starting the event manually can take up some time. I will list down the steps to farm the essence, in the fastest way possible.
Here’s what you need to do to start farming Blood Moon Essence:
- Go to the region of Yaesha and fast-travel to the Far Woods. To start the Blood Moon, all you need to do is go in and out of the Yaesha region and enter the Far Woods again. This will take multiple times and may take 30 minutes of your actual time.
- Once you’re able to trigger a Blood Moon by doing the method I mentioned. You will see floating purple orbs in the sky. Shoot down the floating orbs to obtain 1x Blood Moon Essence.
- If you manage to shoot down all the orbs and none of them are spawning anymore. All you need to do is find the nearest dungeon entrance. Enter the dungeon then exit right after and the orbs will spawn again.
That’s the fastest method of farming the Blood Moon Essence. Once you have tons of essence in your inventory, you can use it to purchase different items by interacting with a Bloodmoon Altar. The Altars are also found in the region of Yaesha.
