The secret weapon Aphelion is just one of the many things in Remnant 2 that you can discover after multiple playthroughs. With how different things can be on each run, it makes replayability in this game a lot more fun than expected.
The Aphelion is one such weapon that requires a specific route to make it possible. Here’s how you can get the gun with the Supernova ability.
How to Get Aphelion
The Supernova skill in Remnant 2 is a skill that can only be found in the Aphelion, a craftable long gun. It has 62 Damage and has the Supernova skill, which deals 141 Fire damage and 321 Burning damage. But that’s not all – you can shoot the Supernova with your basic attack and deal even more Fire damage at 300.
You can craft it with Ava McCabe with a drop from the final boss of N’erud. But first off, you must reroll your adventure mode until you start from the Seeker’s Rest.
After finishing the first main objective of the first area before getting to the second open-world area. We’re going to head to the elevator in the second world and ride it.
Up here, turn right and go down the stairs and then go straight to the elevator here. It’ll bring you up and then afterward, keep going straight to ride another elevator. This one will go back down and bring you to the area where you’ll find a key item.
Grab the Override Pin. This is necessary to get the right drop later at the end when you kill the final boss. Now, go to Sentinel’s Keep and enter the Core Tower.
Before starting, use the Override Pin here and then kill the final boss of N’erud. It’ll drop the required material Void Cinder. Now you can head to Ava to craft the Aphelion.
And here you can finally use the Supernova weapon!
