You’re very close to completing the main quest line and the game itself, and we assume that you already know your way around, so we’ll keep this guide concise. So let’s get into it.

Elex 2 – In Training Quest Guide

Once you complete the Lost Father quest and find Wardek, he’ll give you this quest. Now, this is a very straightforward quest, but it has two possible outcomes that we’ll reveal shortly. Warning: Spoilers ahead!

First, head out to Bastion and talk to Caja. You’ll find her walking around, so talk to her and choose the first conversation option that says “We need to talk about Dex.”

You’ll then tell her that you’re worried about Dex and that he can no longer stay in the Bastion because of his safety. You’ll then both agree that he should move out of the Bastion and that he should decide where he should go.

Once you finish talking to Caja, go to Dex, who’s nearby, sitting by the campfire.

Talk to him to inform him that he can no longer stay in Bastion, and he’ll realize that you’re worried about his safety. You’ll tell him that those who are after him know that he is exceptional, and that’s why he needs to go somewhere where they won’t find him. However, he can’t be in his home in Tavar or somewhere in the wild. He’ll then ask you some questions, so now pay close attention because your answers will determine where he’ll go.

If you tell him that family comes first and that the violence needs to stop, he’ll decide to go to the Castle where Cleric is located. Alternatively, if you tell him that he should ignore others, he’ll go to the Crater, where the Outlaws are. This is why you need to choose wisely, and once you’re done talking to Dex, you’ll complete the mission.
