Dealing with Hags in DnD is no easy task, especially for those who don’t know what they can do. In Baldur’s Gate 3, you might get to a point where you’ll meet a Hag, in the case you’ll want to get ready. There are some items that you’ll want to have to deal with a Hag, and one is Hag’s Bane. It’s a great item that makes the hag spit out the child they’ve eaten.
In this guide, we’ll show you where to find one of the more difficult to find ingredients for the Hag’s Bane. That being the Ashes of a Dried Fey Flower, so get ready to find that item so that you can craft that Hag’s bane!
How to Get Hag’s Bane
At one point in the game, you’ll want to make some Hag’s Bane, unlike other alchemical recipes though this one’s a bit special. That’s because it requires an item that isn’t sold by normal traders, and for good reason. That item is the Ashes of a Dried Fey Flower, which is a bit difficult to get. Since you know, the fay aren’t that generous with giving their flowers.
To get that item, you’ll want to go to Old Barlow’s Place which is southeast of the Beehive General Goods. There, you’ll want to go to the southwestern area of the house and look for a wall safe.
Below is where the wall safe is, and of course it’s locked. There’s two ways of opening that wall safe, you either lockpick it or help the NPC Mayrina in the area. Doing the latter will make her open the wall safe and give you the items.
Now that you have this rare item, go and combine it with any essence to make Hag’s Bane! Now use it wisely!
That’s how you get Hag’s Bane in Baldur’s Gate 3. Now go out there and try to get it yourself, good luck with the Hag! Make sure to go check out our guide on how to open the secret cellar door in the Ornate Wooden Hatch if you haven’t already!
