Baldur’s Gate 3 is a recently released game that is based on the Dungeons and Dragons tabletop games. This guide will focus on how to obtain the Crimson Mischief and the Blade of the First Blood legendary weapons in the game.
How to Get Crimson Mischief & Blade of the First Blood
Orin Interaction
These weapons can be obtained as part of Orin’s Netherstone quest in the game. Your objective here is to keep playing this quest line and the game in general until you meet Orin in the Temple of Bhaal.
As you get closer to Orin, you will notice her standing above a body in the temple. Moving closer to her will trigger a cutscene where she knows of how you killed her Grandfather. Toward the end of the cutscene, players can get a glimpse of her dagger as she puts it against the throat of the body on the altar.
Fight and Defeat Orin
Once the cutscene ends, Orin will transform into a monstrosity, and a battle will begin in which your goal is to defeat Orin and the cultists that surround her. Your main objective in this battle should be to focus on Orin instead of the cultists. However, if you are unable to dispel Bhaal’s Shield quickly, you can leave around two to three of the cultists alive.
It is important to focus on Orin and defeat her first because this will allow you to loot her during the battle. This will allow you to get both the weapons which are the Crimson Mischief and the First Blood blade. As you transfer the Nether Promelled Bloodthirst into your inventory, it will be converted into the Bloodthirst Blade as the Netherstone will automatically be removed from it.
Once both the blades are in your inventory, the quest will be completed, and you can proceed to clear out the remaining cultists to end the battle. Both of these weapons are incredibly powerful due to their legendary rarity, so make sure to use them to their fullest potential.
