Sooner or later, you’ll run into a handful of hard-to-reach places in Baldur’s Gate 3. The camera refusing to move further if you’re not in a certain area isn’t helping either. However, that prevents you from finding out that you’re about to walk into an ambush, which keeps things interesting sometimes.
But there are some other times where everything is already being shown to you and you still can’t come up with anything on the spot. You may have run into this problem while you’re investigating the Rivington Well. Check out the guide if you want to see what’s going on down there!
How to Reach the Chasm to Open the Door
The Rivington Well can be found right in front of the Open Hand Temple. Interact with it to get to the cavern below. There’s a large gap at the end of this area that at least one of your party members will need to clear. Another object of interest is a winch to the right side of the blocked door. This can simply be shot with a bow or other ranged object for it to clear a path for you.
While you’re down here, it’s best to make use of your Jump action along with the Lvl 3 Transmutation spell Fly. Some gaps are larger than usual. To clear those, you might want to Grant Flight to your other party members as well. Just in case you want them to come along with you.
That’s how you clear the chasm underneath the Rivington Well in Baldur’s Gate 3. You only need one person to interact with the door to get to the other side by the way. Now go back to the surface and check out Fraygo’s Flophouse if you haven’t found that door that fits the Flower Key yet!
