Bloodless Status Explained
The only way to cure Bloodless status is with a Long Rest. If you’re looking for an alternative solution, Bloodless status in Baldur’s Gate 3 will certainly drain your life unless you rest. It is unlike most statuses that are either removed after certain turns, or by advancing in the quest.
To explain, Astarion the vampire will suck blood from you and gain the Happy condition. But in return, the team will be inflicted with Bloodless. Astarion receives +1 to Attack Rolls, Saving Throws, and Ability Checks and inversely, -1 on the same stats on you. Even worse if Astarion is not in your party, you’ll only get the negative effect.
If you cannot do Long Rest, you’ll have to spend resources or use spells to try and negate the effects. But if you do take a Long Rest, the Happy condition on Astarion will be removed. This makes this status a pretty tricky one to get, depending on how you play.
Astarion main users will probably see the upside by dealing with it using Bless or Guidance. But if you don’t use him, you probably don’t even want to try this status effect!
