Baldur’s Gate 3: How to Get Markoheshkir Legendary Staff

When going through the many areas in the game, you might stumble upon a place that you just know there’s good loot inside. One of those places is the Sorcerous Sundries building in Baldur’s Gate 3, and it’s filled with all sorts of hazards and puzzles as well. This place holds one of the Legendary weapons in the game and we’re here to find it!

In this guide, we’ll show you how to get the Markoheshkir Legendary Staff in the game. So, grab some teleportation scrolls or ready the spells and keep your eye out for traps! Let’s go find that staff!

How to Get Markoheshkir Legendary Staff

Now that you’re ready, the first step is to go to the Sorcerous Sundries in the city of Baldur’s Gate. Once you enter the area, you’ll want to go up the stairs and to the eastern side of the building. There, you’ll find a couple of pedestals and if you read them, it’ll open some portals. The one we’ll want is the blue one shown below.

Once you go inside that portal, you’ll be transported into Ramzith’s Tower, and you’ll have to talk to Lorroakan. This is where that character that has high charisma skills is needed. You’ll need to do some skill checks to make him not bother you. Most of the skill checks are quite high like the Intimidation one being a DC of 20, so good luck!

Once you’ve talked to Lorroakan, you’ll want to find the area where there’s floating furniture going down. Jump to that furniture and hop down to the floor below.

Below is the pedestal that you need to interact with. This is where the see invisibility buff is needed. You can use a spell, a potion or a buff from magical items. Whatever you choose, when you can see invisible objects, you’ll see a sign below the pedestal. Interact with it and interact with the pedestal to be teleported to the lower level.

Once you’re below, you’ll also see the staff protected by a blue magical barrier. With the see invisibility spell you’ll also see a lever next to it. To interact with the lever, you’ll need a DC: 20 Arcana check to use it. Once you pass the check the barrier will disappear, and you can get the staff!

The staff at first glance doesn’t look that great. It’s a +1 staff that can cast a spell that doesn’t use a spell slot. What makes this staff great is the spell Kereska’s Favour, which when cast you get to choose what element you want.

When you choose an element, using that spell makes you gain resistance to that element. Not only that, but spells of that type will deal bonus damage equal to your proficiency bonus. Add to the fact that you get two free casts of 2 high level spells for that element! These spells also replenish their casts at a short rest, making this one of the best spell casting staves in the game!
